How many american can actually perform 30 push-ups ? 20 ? 10 ? Just 5 ?

Even President Biden was far more healthy and coherent than the orange wankstain.

"30 is a lot, but this country needs me!"

2 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

not just the guy at the top, the whole crew should be required to stay qualifyable

2 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I feel you're going overboard with excluding 90% of USAs population. None of them can do 30 pushups

1 hour ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

LOL this the new sleeperkid promoting himself shtick?

11 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's makes it sound like US presidents are all geriatrics, but Obama wasn't that long ago. Or Clinton or George Bush Jr. either

3 hours ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

The last 3 elected presidents haven't been able to do 1 pushup.

Standards just kept getting lower

3 hours ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

It's like comparing apples to origins with that guy

3 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just one that can name all fifty states. Bonus points if they know the Capitals. You know, shit a fifth grader knows.

Shouldn't be holding a bible at all

Your comment needs to be more upvoted

a Bible should not even be in the white house, fuck that cult bullshit. religious cults do not belong in government, they don't belong in modern society either but people are still caveman like fools scared of lightning

18 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry, can't get behind the ableism. Presidential qualifications should involve general competency & at least a modicum of integrity. It should require knowledge of law, history, & international relations. Arbitrary benchmarks of physical fitness like push-ups are wholly irrelevant.

21 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What the flying fuck does doing 30 pushups have to do with fucking anything to do with the president?

2 hours ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Liberals use phrases like that to appeal to older people and the volatile on-the-fence centrist voters. You know, dumbasses.

41 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

And for that matter, fuck the bible part. Government and religion should ALWAYS be separate. I get that you need to "speak in the language of the people" and this shit is important to them for some reason. But we should be pushing for CHANGE, not just keeping to the same ol same ol...

Do you believe Trump held a bible upside down? Congratulations, you’ve identified an information bubble you’re in. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-hold-bible-upside-down/

Fuck the push-ups.

No corruption, interest for making life and country actually better for all the population.

49 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't care about physical health as much. FDR ran the country while suffering with polio. Let's just design a GRE for federal election officials. Help determine who's qualified for president, house rep, senator, and/or what committees they can serve on.

Adams, Harrison, Taft, FDR, Coolidge, ain't doing 30 pushups.

27 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

30 pushups is a lot. crazy requirement. Instead you should just have an age requirement of younger than 60.

36 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bible holding, either side up, should be a disqualification.

40 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*Shitting President

3 hours ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

I actually read it as that.

38 minutes ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same

21 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

we already have that, it can't stop shitting. shits on itself, shits on us, shits on the economy, shits on our allies, shits on our enemies shit to cover it up for them

16 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can form a sentence, hold books the right way up, and do about half of the 30 pushups. The "push" half, I'm still working on the "up" part.

1 hour ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't imagine him doing a single pushup let alone 30

3 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I can't imagine him even getting up from the ground...

3 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Probably can't even do 1 sit up

3 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

We had that 12 years ago

Yeah but he wore a tan suit and wasn’t racist /s

3 hours ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

"Yeah, but he was black, that's not good" -an uncomfortable number of people

3 hours ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Also, he kind of failed. In his youth he wrote some interesting things about a populace alliance of working class whites a blacks. But during his presidency he really was a pro business dem: he bailed out the banks, made cheap cash available for venture capitalists, and did nothing to slow the offshoring of manufacturing. Along with setting up a garbage candidate like Hillary as is his successor, he really laid the foundation for our current economic mess.

And yes, Americans are super racist!

3 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

the bank bailouts came with strings attached like no golden parachutes

boosting the US manufacturing sector is going to take way longer than two terms - not sure how he could start it without it being reverted by the next guy but I'm really interested

52 minutes ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The bank bailouts did come with strings attached, but most significantly no one got punished. One reason the oligarchs dont fear the current AI bubble is they know (or think) the government will rescue them when the bubble bursts.

Re: manufacturing, im not a policy expert, so I dont know exactly. But the fact remains: inequality widened greatly, and the top 1% benefitted most from the economic recovery

Obama was a president far more in the mold of clinton and reagan than FDR or LBJ

34 minutes ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly, the ability to do a pushup is not what I really care about in a president. How about basic math, science and geography?

3 hours ago | Likes 142 Dislikes 2

well, gonna be unpopular, but can't really care for others if you don't care for yourself.

Dan Quayle has entered the chat

A functioning brain should be useful too

And maybe a demonstrated ability to express empathy.

Trump has expert level mathematics, how do you think he lowered drug prices by 1500%, a number no one thought possible? /s

You mean madandmagics.

I feel a basic level a fitness should be required too as well as the mental aptitude stuff. That way you don’t end up with geriatric laughing stocks that can barely hold a glass of water. Plus the whole healthy body healthy mind kind of thing.

2 hours ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 6

FDR had polio. Shut the fuck up.

2 hours ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

And we live in an age of amazing medical science. There’s no reason a president who has literally the best healthcare in the world, shouldn’t be in decent shape for their age… and last I checked we have pretty much all but eliminated polio

1 hour ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

I am presuming you meant a basic level of fitness dependent on the individual’s specific needs. Which negates arguments about conditions such as polio. There’s a pretty clear line between fat lazy fuck and a diagnosis.

57 minutes ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

The ability to do a pushup was the specific criteria of the thread. This walking it back rather than acknowledging the point is stupid is a pretty classic conservative Schroedinger’s douchebag defense. Physicality doesn’t matter in a job that is entirely mental.

34 minutes ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

you had me 'til 30 pushups. c'mon man. I want a qualified President, not a college football player.

3 hours ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 2

30 pushups isn’t that many…

2 hours ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 25

You are 100% correct. Unfortunately this country is notoriously unhealthy corroborated by the downvotes and comments haha. You dont have to be an athlete or even in shape to do 30, all you have to do is actually move around and spend maybe a couple minutes doing any calisthenics.

4 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

FDR couldn't do 30 pushups and I would burn DC to the ground if we could get somebody like him back.

1 hour ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

It's literally "above average" for an 18 y/o let alone someone 35+. It's a bad criteria to begin with, but your goal is especially laughable

1 hour ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I disagree. I'm 45 and I know I can't do 30 pushups _today_... but if I spent 6 months working on it, I know that I could.
If 30 pushups is a test to keep frail old men out of office, then fine by me.
The real test should be from the voters... but we have far too many here who don't take politics seriously enough

35 minutes ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

That's because the two party system is what brought us to this point . Until it is gone nothing good will happen.
The average person has been marginalized and has no faith nor hope in the system.

when you're 60 and out of shape it is. can I do girl push up on my knees instead ?
