But during his presidency he really was a pro business dem: he bailed out the banks, made cheap cash available for venture capitalists, and did nothing to slow the offshoring of manufacturing. Along with setting up a garbage candidate like Hillary as is his successor, he really laid the foundation for our current economic mess.

The bank bailouts did come with strings attached, but most significantly no one got punished. One reason the oligarchs dont fear the current AI bubble is they know (or think) the government will rescue them when the bubble bursts.
Re: manufacturing, im not a policy expert, so I dont know exactly. But the fact remains: inequality widened greatly, and the top 1% benefitted most from the economic recovery

I feel a basic level a fitness should be required too as well as the mental aptitude stuff. That way you don’t end up with geriatric laughing stocks that can barely hold a glass of water. Plus the whole healthy body healthy mind kind of thing.

You are 100% correct. Unfortunately this country is notoriously unhealthy corroborated by the downvotes and comments haha. You dont have to be an athlete or even in shape to do 30, all you have to do is actually move around and spend maybe a couple minutes doing any calisthenics.

I disagree. I'm 45 and I know I can't do 30 pushups _today_... but if I spent 6 months working on it, I know that I could.
If 30 pushups is a test to keep frail old men out of office, then fine by me.
