At this point, just start firebombing them. Make them waste money repairing them until it becomes too expensive

STOP voting for Republicans and Centrist Democrats. They're in the pockets of Billionaires and will tell you to stfu and drink the brown water.

The four boxes of liberty are the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the ammo cartridge.
Options 1-3 have been denied to the people.

Water reclamation PhD, “you keep saying ‘if there’s a problem with the water being contaminated then…’ Then what? We don’t have the technology to reclaim the water from what’s coming from these data centers. Then what? You gonna fine them? You can’t drink money. Once it’s polluted you’re done.”
LordHosk
Whatever you do... Don't burn down big data centers. You don't know exactly where they are, so don't burn them down. Certainly don't throw gasoline and oil mixtures on their cooling towers and light it on fire... that would be dangerous and illegal!
Don't do it!

I guess I will not be moving to be close to the air show .

HONG FOR GOVERNOR!!!
whatsthisbuttondonow1
You are aware that data centres can burn down
Truckdunk
They are putting THREE data centers on the same road three minutes away from my house. I never considers arson but I think it’s time

Fire is cheap & all consuming

add some sugar to the curing concrete if you can. It slows down the curing process and doesn't take a whole lot to essentially stop it completely, and for a foundation it ruins the entire pour

I wonder if AI is just a conspiracy to drag Julia Roberts out of retirement to make Erin Brockovich 2.
FeChefImgur
I thought the main problem with big data centers was the water consumption, not that they polluted the water ?
LumpPump
well if we want to risk believe the AI tattling on itself, "Yes, data centers can pollute water through the discharge of wastewater from their cooling systems. While the primary concern is often water consumption (evaporation), the water that is not evaporated is discharged as effluent containing various contaminants. "
FeChefImgur
I do like that you asked AI that question, bravo :)
LumpPump
well, i just put it in the brave search bar and their ai that likes to force answers down your throat at the top of all the results answered by default. it is still fun that it tells on itself tho

Couldn't have happened to nicer people. Maybe they'll quit voting in asshats.
killergrooves85
Except there are cases in the US where the city stopped data centers from building and then the company behind the data center sued the city and forced the city into allowing it because the city couldn’t afford to fight the lawsuit. So even if you elect the right people, it may not be enough.

Wisconsin, unfortunately, and I say that as a resident of the state, has a lot of farm country that is full of stupid motherfuckers who think republicans are the only way to vote, no matter how bad they make it for themselves in the process. I have no doubt at all that they're going to vote in more republicans to the state legislature who are just going to continue fucking over the state in ways that make it unbelievably worse for everyone around here.

I went to college at UW-Madison from 2006-2009, my brother has lived in WI since 1999, my sister has lived there since 2010, and I agree with you 100%. My sister hates the WI state government with a passion, but she's stuck there now.

I love the whole Republicans create a problem, them campaign on that other and how they need to be elected to fix it. Then they run on that same problem over and over. And none of those dumb MF ever catch that since the Republicans have been in charge, who exactly is creating those problems.
HighSorcerer
In Texas they're still blaming democrats for all of the problems in Texas when the GOP has been running the state for the last 30 years.
NotSomoneElse68
That's what I was thinking of. And places like Arkansas.
