KellKabrinski
Depends on the style. If it's the garbage from a box, pretty much like cake. The good stuff is made with buttermilk and is a bit tangy.
The other reply (kellkabrinski) is right. Texture is somewhere between a fluffy pancake and a dense bread.
SunAnvil
Putting sugar in cornbread is sacrilegious and basically, you are making cake. Fry a couple pieces of bacon in an iron skillet then pour 1/2
2/2 the non sugared cornbread mix over top and put in the oven. Done and done.

Why would you want to heal from being right?

And their CEO raced in the Indy 500.
CthulhusGreasyBallsack
Because what do they need to advertise? Everybody knows about and uses them. No adverts keeps the price down and the product ubiquitous.
I can guarantee you infinitely more people know of McDonald's and yet they spend approximately $2 billion annually around the world in ads.
They're completely incomparable. It's weird that you'd even bring that up thinking it's some kind of argument.
