"Our next guest needs no introduction" *proceeds to introduce guest*

Did you even smash that like and subscribe button?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I blocked the Like button element, so it no longer visually loads. As I found the light up effect it did whenever anybody said like annoying

If you don't know, its means fussing over trivialities.
"Without further fuss."

Further ads without further ado

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can't say that I've seen it. The Youtubers I watch are smart enough to say "without further ado" AFTER their sponsor segment.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I've only seen a single YouTuber do it, I commented that he used it wrong, he tried to make excuses, too proud to just take the information.
I didn't watch more of his videos.

It's being mispronounced... it's "Without further a doo-doo"... like "no more shit"... A wise sage told me that. He may have been a drunken raccoon with bad breath, but he was a font of wisdom.

How else can you sucker old people into watching your shitty YouTube video?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You misunderstood them. "Ad dough", that's what they said.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

SponsorBlock for the win.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Sponsors, ads, self promotions. Block everything that is not consumable content.

My pet peeve is when people say “Without further adieu”.

Like, sure, goodbyes at the introduction is a bit much

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

Oooh, talking about pet peeves: the amount of people saying "eck cetera." I mean, the abbreviation is "etc." The clue to the proper pronunciation is right fucking there! AAAAA!

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But consider this: the phrase "without further ado" can be equivalent to "and now down to business". The business of YouTube videos is to generate revenue from .... sponsors.

Every YouTube video? I watch a massive amount of YouTube and never seen this once lol.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It seems to be extremely prevalent in certain YT categories. Others it's nonexistent.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's hyperbole.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And that's AFTER a bunch of introductory ado.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well no more 'But first"

I've used this line out loud in real life.. It's a hit, every time.

They then proceed with a production of Much Ado About Nothing.

"As i now introduce your guest speaker... but first my grandmas recipe for hotdog jello casserole"

My favorite YouTuber T4rget says “witout furderdoo” because of his accent and he’s fantastic. And there is no furderdoo, it’s straight into city builder wonderland

"Ado" is all they have. Without so much "ado," most "cOnTeNt CrEaToRs" wouldn't have anything to monetize.

Reminds me of corporate meetings. "If nobody has anything else to bring up, we can end this meeting"... Every 15 minutes for two hours.

One solution for Android devices: ReVanced Manager + YouTube ISO patched = better life.

It cuts out so much garbage!

Also, Brave browser on the desktop.

GrayJay if you don't want to patch it yourself.

For PC, SponsorBlock. It has categories for intros, sponsors, and a bunch of other skippable stuff.

I love NordVPN.

Why don't you marry nordvpn

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I am already happily married. It's more of a friendly love I have towards NordVPN rather than romantic or intimate. However, NordVPN can help someone privately and securely be intimate with themselves. I am not a paid sponsor for NordVPN.

Probably the most rewarding money I’ve spent in a long time. I’ll be a customer for the rest of my life as long as they maintain standards and pricing

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

The money they paid for the ads that hooked me is probably the most rewarding money they ever spent. I'll be a customer for the rest of my life as long as they keep automatically renewing my subscription.

For real, it's an OK VPN but their servers tend to get flagged as VPN servers, usually making it impossible to register accounts while you have your VPN open. If they didn't automatically renew my subscription every year, I would've moved to Mullvad permanently ages ago.

Probably the best tech money I've ever spent was when Windscribe VPN was first starting up and they had a $50 for lifetime unlimited pro subscription deal.

*squint* this comment looks suspiciously sponsored by NordVPN™

It totally is use private internet access, it's far better and that's sponsored by idiots
