Should clarify that the iron cross were the German army identification from 1871. Was used by said nazi's but derived and made swastika from 1933. And continues to be the German army symbol identification till today.
What's does it mean? If it's on a vehicle it's German soldiers.

Furthermore, straight up removing these from your life MAKES them nazi symbols, and they gain a little more ground. This is a serious thing in MN. There are tons of people of Scandinavian heritage. Also, norse nazi churches. You don't always know who's who. Usually, it's not hard. I'll be honest I have rune tattoos, and atleast one is on that first list. I'm also visibly trans and mixed indigenous. I've even had my farm shot up by the nazis up here.
Despite everything, I have no choice but to assume those are hate symbols for my own safety. Everyday.

Her previously nice stream became a far-right cesspool until she stopped streaming entirely. She herself became unwelcome in quite a few of the other pro-LGBT streams

Eh, I ride motorcycles and the Iron Cross is used pretty far and wide and I still wouldn't wear one. 1%s are pretty closely associated with racism and also use a lot of nazi imagery just to cause offense. The closer you are to looking like a nazi sympathizer the more likely you are to be mistaken for one. If I see someone with Iron Crosses at any kind of gearhead event I assume they at least have racist friends.

Some of these symbols have been appropriated by nazi's, the first one is just a z in the runic alphabet, for example. Do not judge on these alone, unless you know the original meaning of them. (Like the deaths head. That one is not ambivalent, just straight up nazi.)

AFAIK it was a prussian cavalry regiment insignia in the XVIII, not a "let's fight four our right to own people as slaves" flag; Hitler's bodyguards took it as badge in the thirties.

I would consider some of these as signs to look closer and evaluate, not to immediately judge someone. A red flag if you will. There may be non Nazi intent behind them, but it is good to be cautious.

Some, like the Swaztika, has been forever tainted. Others are only somewhat associated as of yet, and focusing on retaining their original meaning is still worthwhile. But yeah, the deathshead, having been obscure and/or minor in an international context, and probably national too, is pretty much lost as anything other than a Nazi symbol.

Or you can see it as a reason to gauge their views before judging. What you think is an "inbred neckbeard" might be someone who served or has a relative who served in Germany, for example. Sure, unlikely, but you can't unbreak someone's jaw and go "sorry bro, I thought you were a Nazi!"
