For all those that haven't tried it. Splitting wood is super therapeutic. 10/10 would recommend. I've chopped down many small trees with just an axe and one 45 footer to clear land on my property. I also struck my shin once about three years ago. There was a lot of blood!
Same. Which always makes me wonder why people don't just wear shin guards while chopping wood. Even if you do this a lot, sometimes you can hit a hard spot inside the log that makes it split in unexpected ways, or slightly miss the correct angle, and then that axe head flies towards your leg.
Oh man, TotalBiscuit. I remember watching his Starcraft 2 Sandisk invitational, his super animated commentary made me excited for when the little blue guys killed the little red guys. I really did feel sad when his cancer got him in the end, particularly when it seemed he had it beat for a while.
