Like the existence of a law is some supernatural force that binds people's will.

What’s more worrisome is that they’ve “removed” both the Department Chair, Dr. Emily Johansen, and the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, Dr. Mark Zoran … both Professors.
No one’s sure yet if that means they were fired or just lost their tenure or just their administrative roles. If it’s the former, this could get ugly.
