The usual suspects

In a healthy, functional society these people would be identified early in life and given free, mandatory therapy to keep them from growing up to be monsters who abuse/rape children. Instead we live in a society that rewards and encourages sociopathic and other toxic behavior.

As an abuse survivor who endured decades of abuse culminating in catastrophic harm to myself, it infuriates me to no end that society refuses to do much of anything about monsters like these until well after they have inflicted unimaginable harm.
