Today in Canterbury England a terrible tradgedy took place on the University of Kent campus. I am shocked and disturbed by the tradgedy.

I myself have been a victim of loss and feel this pain acutely. I ask for a moment of silence to honour all those who have lost loved ones, via a fall, a topple, or even a spill.

At 11:07 the remains of almost untouched fresh Thai noodles were found on the Tyler hill steps. Two full completely uneaten containers met thier tragic end. My heart goes out to the victim of this terrible tradgedy.

You may not be able to tell in this photo but the white container, in fact contained an order of extra chicken. I can't image the cost or the pain of this loss.

I graduated from Kent in '09 and will stand in 2 minutes silence for this tragic waste.

Don't let it go to waste! Some starving children in Africa could eat those stairs!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And the railings, too. Let's not forget the nutritional value there is in railings.

Your spelling is a tradgedy

Hey I go to Canterbury college. To think I spent today in ignorance of such a ground breaking tragedy.

I was a student in Kent last year. My heart goes out to all my friends effected by this tragedy

England stood with us after Bowling Green, KY. We now stand with England for the University of Kent.

Dude, couldn't you have put a graphic warning? This is incredibly upsetting to see.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The fact that noodles kept their shape after leaving the tin, means this is no great loss.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Perhaps it had already become cold and congealed before the person dropped it. Speculation.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

je suis kent.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

We will overcome. We will reorder. We will CLIMB these descending stairs. Together. Anewdle.

Probably the British spelling. They fuck everything up. Colour, armour, paedophile, diarrhoea, tradgedy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 14

Yea, the opposite of comedie.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Spelling is tradgic. If only OP could go somewhere to be educated in English.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

When the food is gone and I can't go on,its tragedy!

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

It's like a tragedy, but one caused by badgers

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I would like to think a badger scampering on the stairs startled the victim causing them to drop the food.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Did you ever hear the tradgedy of Darth Pladgueis The Wise? I thoudt nodt.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do you not have a the "five second rule" over there? Maybe you call it the "five secound rule"?

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

They probably have their own special measurement for five seconds. Like fortnight or stone or some shit.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

We're the fuckups who can't metric properly and spell everything wrong. All other English-speaking nations are metric and spell like Brits.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Americans are the majority of native English speakers in the world. Also, we spell for utility, they for legacy.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm not going to lie there's a good chance I would have scooped it back in and ate it :-/

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Kent, you do not stand alone against the tyranny of gravity. The American people stand beside you.

9 years ago | Likes 1036 Dislikes 2

Not least because the American people are more exposed by gravity than most....

But not for too long, standing hurts our big bones.

Hi Canterbury, I live in a shitty town next to you. I see such horror daily - once, even half a dominoes pizza, forsaken upon the floor.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Faversham per chance?

That wouldn't be Ashford?

KFC here has/had rats.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry dude, I can't relate. You see, in America, the fat shit would have still eaten it.

9 years ago | Likes 319 Dislikes 29

Good idea just leave it there so someone can walk through it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Am American. Can confirm.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would have definitely still eaten it. only a very small portion of the noodles touched the poisonous earth.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm from the US and my first thought was that 90% was still edible. Just give a quick look round and shovel it back in. Leave what hit dirt.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Also: Am fat.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

5 second rule applies!

9 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

I probably would have stood in stunned shock for at least five seconds.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Followed by quickly looking around to see if anyone else saw it happen. No witnesses.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just a quick question, does the 5 second rule apply to soup? I need an answer quick, BTW.
