I heard a loud squealing noise in the garden and realised a squirrel had got it's teeth caught in the wire of a bird feeder and was hanging by them. I rushed out and without thinking cradled his little body hoping he could free himself, which he did. He then spun round and bit clean through the fleshy part of my palm and wouldn't let go. Eventually after much screaming and shaking my hand like a lunatic, he let go, leaving quite a gash. Oh how the nurse laughed as she gave me my tetanus jab!
I love animals. The one where the squirrel leaves a cookie for the lady at her door is amazing. Like, it made that choice. It didn’t have to do that. And don’t get me started in Crows/corvids making friends with us. Love it.
Squirrels hide shit everywhere. If it's calorically low they eat whatever they find. If its calorically high , they stash it somewhere. They arent giving cookies to people
