This is also often considered to be the shortest poem ever, delivered by Mohammed Ali at a college commencement speech. "Me / We" was all he said. I learned that in a great youtube video called "what makes a poem a poem" by TedEd.

i think adam had'em is up there for shortest poems

Hey, you forgot to label every single thing, how am I supposed to know what to think about a political cartoon without being told who's "THE GOVERNMENT" and what's "MY TAXES"??? Seriously though, great job. Simple, clever and to the point. And Harris is literally throwing shade.

Missed the opportunity to have trump in the shadow so that is Harris wins you would have drawn a followup on him being crushed

It's good to know who did this. Well done, you.

MeWe is also a social media platform that this comic reminded me of. I asked Poe AI:

Yes, MeWe is a social media platform that emphasizes user privacy and freedom of expression. Launched in 2016, it allows users to create profiles, share content, join groups, and connect with friends without the targeted advertising and data tracking commonly associated with other social media sites. MeWe promotes itself as a more secure alternative, focusing on user control over their personal information.

*They not like us plays*

I keep waiting for someone make a short video using that song with nothing but images of trump and Epstein.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they played a bunch of songs for different states at the DNC and that was one of California's. Also unfortunately, Democrats can't go too hard on the Epstein stuff cause Bill Clinton...

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I heard it during the roll call. And while I understand that sentiment, Bill Clinton isnt running for President, and hasn't for almost 30 years. There's only one current candidate with a bunch of pictures cozying up to Epstein, and with his name mentioned many times in Epstein's missed call books. Also, and I say this as a Democrat, I feel like anyone found associating with Epstein in illegal ways, should be equally shamed, run through the courts, and jailed, regardless of political party.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree but they can't have some thing at the DNC with Trump and Epstein while also having both Clintons speaking at the thing even if they aren't actually running. They should absolutely separate from anyone listed on Epstein's books but unfortunately those in power are more keen to just pretend it didn't happen than to face the truth.

That's clever. I thought this was a jab at corporate capitalism.

2 years ago | Likes 396 Dislikes 12

It can be both

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I mean to a degree it is, but also it definitely is not, as the other person said

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

This time they're both against big corporations. Surprising, I know.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Trump has ruined so many businesses, he'd be an anticapitalist hero if they weren't all his own.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That's the great thing, it can be!

“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power” - Benito Mussolini

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be clear, Mussolini wasn’t saying that Corporate capitalism is fascism. But instead, that in his vision of fascism, the state (led by him) would be at the head of all corporations.

In Mussolini’s ideal, that was state at the head of all corporations. In America, fascism has arisen from corporations becoming the heads of state.

Same end, different path.

I hate to tell you this, but no American president ever will not be a corpo boot licking hardcore capitalist.

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 10

I’d amend that to post the Citizens United ruling. Since money is now considered speech the president will always serve the donors.

Hasn’t always. Before the 80s there were actually reasonable rules to spending in politics. Still dirty money but MUCH less than today. Then Citizens United came and ramped it up.
