This is no struggle meal

some weeks I nap often enough I need not grocery shop, this week is looking like another one of those weeks with gas going off I cease economic activity.

Eating half-soggy half-crunchy ramen "cooked" over a tealight because the power is out is a struggle meal. Eating bread with mustard and nothing else is a struggle meal.

I was so broke at one point all I had was a jar of peanut butter and some ramen. Decided to put PB on the uncooked brick of ramen noodles. Bad idea. So broke I couldn't toss it so I finished it.

Remove the “funny” tag. Forced hunger Isn’t funny.

I mean my bread wasn't stale and my milk was strawberry flavored. But that was my dinner tonight.

That is a bigger sandwich than any of the sandwiches I ate at home growing up, and none of those were "struggle meals," they were just regular meals. WTF?

I've done the icewater struggle meal. I've done the tomato soup from the gas station meal (gas card was the only one not over the limit)
But *I* pulled myself up by my bootstraps (swallowed my pride and got any help i could)

Struggling with a diet

The struggle version would be mass produced white bread and a slice of processed cheese, no condiments.

I grew up on cheese and mayo sandwhiches

No cheese or margarine, just a dry slice of white bread.

Ahem...condiment packets from the fixing bar at a fast food place, that have been in the fridge for an unknown amount of time.

Cheese? Luxury! Just a tiny dab of margarine.

No it's "cheese".

Still. I also want to amend my comment. Just a drop of canola oil.
