He's not Christian and not a billionaire.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well, first off, he’s not good, a Christian, or a billionaire. So….

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He’s the “new” Christian

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its almost as if every single one of them was a horrible person. Same goes for billionaires

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look up the works of the Hobby Lobby owners.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

A true billionaire Christian would be giving most of thier wealth to the needy. “Billionaire Christian” is an oxymoron.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

And not in Bibles. In food, clothing, etc.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He probably took them from his hotel….

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then how would he pay off porn stars? Or his lawyers?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm stuck in the middle with my siblings. My brother thinks selling them is a great idea, my sister doesn't even like the fact that some people give them away.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Your sister is right. Why donate bibles when you can donate food and money? You can't eat a Bible! Well, I guess you could, but it wouldn't be good for you. The only reason anyone "donates" bibles is to spread their faith which doesn't help anyone. Practice, don't preach.

The usually give them away. Like the Gideon’s. https://youtu.be/Rz6KC-Knaxo?si=1XqV9ATw1yNeyKE3

Bible sale is a grift to allow unlimited donations from church groups to Trump. This is just an illegal campaign donation activity. Also Trump worships money not god.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We should excommunicate all billionaires and most millionaires too. And tax the churches after we start taxing the rich fully

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

why are you advertising for him ??

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A non-Christian businessman/con-man wouldn't know this.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That guy Gideon must be pretty loaded though.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trump is not a Christian. He plays one to attract money, but he knows no more about Christianity than a stone.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Billionaires shouldn't exist.

2 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 2

Thanks for letting us know.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If birds aren't real billionaires shouldn't be either

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hate to say it, but yep, that’s including Taylor Swift, even though she seems to be a good person

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

At least she delivers real value in the form of entertainment. The only reason Trump has money is because he doesn’t pay for anything and has a braindead cult that funnels him their paychecks

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fair enough but if anybody is searching for clues as to character at this point, maybe character assessment isn’t for you

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And not only bibles.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well. There you have it.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A true billionaire Christian would be donating their billions.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's no such thing as a billionaire christian. Its not possible, it says so in the bible.

2 years ago | Likes 333 Dislikes 3

This is the right takeaway. For Christians, anyone becoming rich while their neighbors suffer is not following the example of the Messiah.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People don't tend to read it though

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought you were allowed to be rich if you could thread a donkey through the eye of a needle. Seems simple enough with the technology we have today.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

I don't know about donkey miniaturization, but needle maxiaturization seems reasonably simple.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Depends how thin you're slicing your donkey, really.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Camel, cuz the humps make it harder.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's where you're wrong, the humps make it easier to get the camel through using an s motion. It's harder to thread a straight thread / donkey.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s easy 😊 If you’re not worried about putting it back together again on the other side 😉

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Hey - the big man never said anything about how the Donkey would look on the other side.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Also there is no such thing as true or false christian.

TIL

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

A term that designates anything means nothing.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Oh no! We've upset the vainglorious!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Sure there is. Christianity literally has guidelines and rules -if you're not following those but calling yourself a Christian, then you're not a true Christian.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

Those whom call themselves "christians" don't agree on "the guidelines and rules." Therefore there is no such thing as a true or false christian -- since the only requirement is the self proclamation of being "christian."

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

The Amish "christians" believe living a humble life is christain thus those whom aren't as humble aren't christians. The Jehovah’s witness believe those who celebrate easter with eggs and Christmas with trees are not christian. The list of rules and guidelines to be "christian" is as diverse and inconsistent as all the types of christians.

There are pentacostal whom practice snake handling and drinking poison as a demonstration of the strength of their faith. They quote the Gospel of Mark (chapter 16) and the Gospel of Luke to support the practice. Those that don't handle serpent don't have the faith of a real christian.

What if we used Canadian dollars?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The eye of a needle, okay? No one is saying this. No one was this until I said this. The eye.

Of.

a needle...

It's yuge. They don't want you to know about it. It's so big it's almost as tall as Trump Tower, the tallest building in New York since September of 2001. Look it up. Everyone knows it. And Trump Tower, Trump.... tower.... It's all gold.

I apologize for the psychic damage.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It was explained to me like this: "The "Eye of the Needle" was indeed a narrow gateway into Jerusalem. Since camels were heavily loaded with goods and riders, they would need to be un-loaded in order to pass through. Therefore, the analogy is that a rich man would have to similarly unload his material possessions in order to enter heaven." (really that's the first result I found but it is phrased better than I would have come up with... )

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

According to the BBC show QI's research team there's never been a gate in Jerusalem documented as having that name. It is likely an attempt to circumvent the more radical meaning in the bible

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Quite possibly. Considering it's ALL 1700-2000 year old hearsay anyway.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I think it means unloading your stuff, you can't take it with you when you die.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think it means the life you have to live to accumulate wealth is incompatible with being a good Christian. You cannot serve money and God. Serving money your whole life and then shedding it before you die feels like a cop-out.
