Why doesn't she just sit like a normal person? Other then that, really cool stuff. Id kill for a suit of armor. The coolest armor I have seen was this that Adam Savage talked about https://youtu.be/Q8LDwmI0RQA?si=-jtGGtxxRGsyfaXM
I love how she touches on functionality being a touchstone for fashion as she wraps up a short discussion on medieval armor while wearing exercise togs with an armor print.
I mean, modern business suits are a straight continuation of 18th century military uniforms, which were imitated by formal civilian dress. Neckties are based on scarfs worn by soldiers in the field.
And today, camo patterns, boots that are styled after combat boots. pants and jafkets based on military uniforms etc. are found everywhere in everyday fashion.
Thanks to you, I found out today it might be a myth and that the Norman version (also a candidate for being a propaganda myth) is that he was literally hacked to pieces by William and 3 other knights.

Beyond differentiating between skis & a snow board, I can't tell the difference between ski & snowboarding gear, either

Yeah. Oftentimes history is muddled by various opinions and sides.
