Agreed. I honestly don't want to see any videos of kids on the net, even the real cute ones. Our kids don't need to be presented to the world against their will or without their permission. They have rights to privacy. Poor boy, now we've all seen his tears. And he may not have wanted that shared.
Especially in the era of AI slop where your kid could be very easily scanned, duped and edited into quite literally any other video footage. Including the stuff Trumps friends are into.

I'll get flak for this but what really bothers me is when Halloween comes around and all of the sudden people feel the need to test kids with a bucket of candy. If their immature brain fails and they take more than one candy? Let's post their face online forever under the label of thief.. Never really understood the move away from landlines. I have both a mobile & landline, & I use the latter as my emergency number. It's what people ring if they want me to answer even if I'm asleep, like when a loved one's had an accident. My mobile gets too many notifications & spam at all hours, so it's always on mute or off if I'm asleep. The landline is also a useful backup if the phone battery is dead or the network is down. I've just always found it useful to split phone services like this.

My landline is $5 per month. It's cheaper to use that phone than my mobile. I save money by having one, not the other way round. Probably depends where you are as to whether this sort of setup is available, I guess?
That's why phones can be set to allow certain people to break through your silence settings under specific circumstances, like if they call 3 times within 2 minutes or whatever
