I have a hard enough time hitting people, I dont need the added difficulty of constant rolling

Must've slipped and taken a crack to his head.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Dark Souls 2 had battle royale: summon every single guy at the Iron Keep bridge and Chamaleon away.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He would ‘love’ the potential, inevitable, monetization.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Battle royale is a piss poor FPS mode type. It injects so much luck and rng into an otherwise skill heavy genre.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Nah PUBG is incredibly difficult with a very high standard of quality in the player base. It is highly based on skill.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They’d have to fix the pvp so it’s actually reliable first.

7 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 4

That would required them to have good netcode. Quite unprecedent for japanese games.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

The only good thing about BR games is they keep the kids out of the real games.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You know which genre can really be imbued with a sense of lurking fantasy, exploring humanity and praising western legends? BATTLE ROYALE

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This sounds like a good idea until I remember that dark souls multiplayer was terrible it was fun but connection and balance were awful.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just dark souls with even MORE raiding

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cant wait to get killed by lag over and over

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

i played fortnite exactly one time, and the reason i quit was because i found and killed a person immediately after landing, only to die >>>

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

inexplicably 2 full seconds later and teleport 90 feet away to where i landed, only to see the guy i killed walking off with my shotgun.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

These games have been around a while now, and I STILL think of the movie Battle Royale, every damn time. Momentary excitement.

7 years ago | Likes 319 Dislikes 7

It's only after reading your comment, I realize op didn't mean the old Battle Royale

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean hunger game?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

BR came out almost 10 years before The Hunger Games did.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That was a simple, stupid and brutal movie. I didn't really enjoy it, but it was still fascinating.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Try the novel, it's even better.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I have three copies! Gotta have those revised translations, yo.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Naked in the birdbath.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A battle royal Battle Royal game could be rather interesting. Alternate win conditions for things like escaping the collars

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And every time I see Beat Kitano, I think about Sonatine.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean... Wasn't the plot of Battle Royale basically a battle royale game? Isn't that why they're called that?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course. I'm simply saying to me, and my circle of jerks, 'battle royale' automatically connects to the movie. Not the recent game trend.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So for honor battle royale

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God please... No ! Every fucking game editors are making their own BR. FUCK YOU !

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

Dodge rolling non-stop.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

I'm just picturing the mile-long conga line of backstabs.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Just let battle royale die already.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You all died.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

LOL "talents." Glitchy hit boxes, clunky combat controls, and enemies who are almost universally stronger and faster than you in every way/1

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Artificial difficulty isn't difficulty. That's why the "hard" Mario Brothers game is called Super Mario frustration. It creates challenge /2

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

by artificially inflating skills through the use of pointless memorization. Once you've seen where the invisible obstacle is, you make a /3

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

note of it and then dismiss it forever as a challenge. That doesn't make something hard. Same with DS. Memorize patterns, easy wins. /4

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That isn't how you make a game difficult.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Non stop rolling action!

7 years ago | Likes 153 Dislikes 8

????

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just backwards red caps everywhere

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Non stop sun praising

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya, but maybe first he should hire someone that knows how to write network code.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I said it before and will say it again: why make good games when you can just make a br and get easy moneyz. Fuck this industry

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 8

Everything going down the drain

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I mean, money is money. While I don't enjoy every game I've worked on - I know at the end of the day without sales I'm out of a job.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I mean, it's fine if they want to cater to stockholders, but it makes for a boring af gaming landscape. Mina's started it.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Mobas... Fucking autocorrect

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Making a popular game and a good game are nonexclusive.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, no doubt about that. But having basically the same game makes for a boring gaming landscape.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

So a darksouls better done and supported "for honor" ?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because the Battle Royale game style's popularity is due to it being absolutely terrible and boring.

7 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 29

Someone is bad at multiplayer games and it makes them salty.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

Someone's really fucking bad at catching extremely obvious sarcasm.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just like Dark Souls

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

Its popular i think due to lack of accountability unlike other competitive games. Its easy to write off losing not so much in 1v1 games

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

But when you taste that sweet victory...

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Most of the time when you lose in BR it is 1v1 situations, unless you're dying way early in a populated area.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My point is its easier to write that off in BR game than it is in a fighting game. Same thing happened with mobas and competitive RTS

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The battle royale genre has done to video games what shitty “reality TV“ has done to television; it’s a cheap cop-out by developers.

7 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 18

Eh yes and no. It's just another game mode, that is fun to many, it's not going away entirely, but it will diminish to being less of a thing

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Survival crafting game. After Minecraft they came like a plague

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

They will get bored of it eventually.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If it's a copy paste sure, but look at apex. It adds quite a few new mechanics so as long as it's iterated on it can be good. (that being 1

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

said I don't like apex for a few reasons but i do see the quality of the overall game and how they improved on it)

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah. That was sandbox games. This is just a more violent extension.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

IF you make a proper game, and allow mods. Battle royale mode would probably be a popular mod for good games. 1/2

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It would work as an extra game mode. But games based on that as their only game mode are plain and simply cheap 2/3

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All the technical elements of the game engine are there to allow team deathmatch, and other game modes. But they chose to limit themselves.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I miss the variety that QWTF had - Hunted (Kill/Defend the "President"), Spaz Ball ("Football"), CivSaw etc.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What do you think is better about defusing a bomb?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Arguably that the engagements are more controlled/focused/balanced with less downtime. What BR offers is unique engagements. Worth it imo.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I've had some crazy engagements in Apex Legends where a third, fourth, and fifth squad join a fight in progress and trying to flank... fun.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You then see those videos they have on r/apexlegends where they get to a fight late and sees like 30 death boxes on the ground.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some games do it really well, I really enjoy Apex legends for example. But many games defo convert their mechanics into a BR on the cheap.

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

I you make a proper game, with different game modes. Battle royale mode would probably be a popular mode for good games. 1/3

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All the technical elements of the game engine are there to allow all types of other game modes, but they refuse. 2/3

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Does anyone remember first unreal tournaments and all its game modes? Assault, team deatmatch, capture the flag, etc. 3/4

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But nah, nowadays it is all about making a single game mode. Nobody would complain if battle royale was just one game mode of several 4/4

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*cough*FORTNITE:BATTLE ROYALE*cough* I want my 60 dollars back... or for them to actually fucking release Save the World as a f2p so /1

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

there are players in the PvE maps again.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please god yes. I preordered and feel fucking betrayed.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pvp is easily the worst part of the dark souls series

7 years ago | Likes 145 Dislikes 30

Lel git gud

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

Agreed. I didn’t mind being invaded but I definitely never sought out PvP

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Pfft casul. Git gud. /s

7 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 5

a-fucking-men

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

As someone who played it entirely for the PvE, I lost every single PvP fight I was in when I just wanted a hand beating the smelter demon.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nothing in the game prepares you for a naked spellcaster who specced his entire character to kill you specifically.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it's laggy, yeah. If it's not, it's amazing. Got matched with someone who it turns out lived only 30 minutes away, could tell right (1)

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

away in game that he must be very close because the hitboxes were fucking perfect, with zero delay and so smooth.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love hitting people in the face with soul arrows all day only to have none of them connect. Invigorating.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

“Super” popular opinion here, but dark souls 2 pvp worked pretty damn well.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know what it is about 2 but I just don't have fun playing. I've beaten it twice and have had to force myself to finish both times.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You’ll like sekiro then. No multiplayer

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's only if you consider killing the host victory. Nay back in the Demons souls days we had the scraping spear and would just break gear!

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Those were dark times.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Imagine having to fix 10k equipment when you only have access to 2-1 and 1-2.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So many casuals in here

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Wrong

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 19

Just because Dark Souls 2 had good PvP doesn't mean the other games did smh

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I enjoyed 1 a lot. Yes its back stab fest but once you learn the "tech" its a good game of bait and miss games

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

"Once you learn to avoid the absolute bullshit mechanics and glitches, It's good fun." Jokes aside though, to each their own I guess.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I totally get the hate I enjoyed it. Believe it or not the glitches and crappy mechanics add layers to PvP. Game would be All R1 spam

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Good job moving the goal post of the original argument to better defend your shitty position. Still wrong though

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

"Oh your a mile away, let me back stab you anyway"

7 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 6

*points down*

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

*deep voice* thank you

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*throws dung pie*

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

netcode and no dedicated servers is the worst part of pvp in dark souls.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Sounds like someone has a bad connection

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I would say the worst part is making your character. Almost made one that look kinda human once

7 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

I once made Michael Jackson In bloodborne, it was terrifying

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In Bloodborne, I wanted to make my guy look like he was smiling. Ended up making him really fucking pissed.

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

So ugly the bosses dont want to touch you with their weapons

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"You should smile more"

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

All I wanted was a smile

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I understand your perspective. People who want just a co-op experience dread invasions, and those who want single-player hop offline. I =>

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

=> It's a thrill to beat someone else in a fight, but I had more fun after I beat the game, not when PVP was jumping into my co-op.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Damn straight. PVP in DS is awesome, but sometimes we just wanna co-op.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do-op in dark souls sucks it’s all centered around single player. I’d argue that even ornstein and enough is centered around one player.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Smough*

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Co-Op had some scaling for everything, but not enough to match the single-player campaign's experience. Co-Op is the tutorial.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Battle royal dark souls style. Would actually be pretty amazing.

7 years ago | Likes 1110 Dislikes 71

There is literally a ffa mode in DS3

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Given how laggy pvp combat is in the souls games I kind of doubt it. Melee combat with 250+ms delay is ass.

7 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Shit at that point you're just trying to survive the enviornment longer than everyone else o.0

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Have you ever PvPd in dark souls? The environment isnt nearly as threatening as that dark spirit with 99 strength coming for your butthole

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lol only once. I would imagine br would be a more even playing field. Maaaybe

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It would be a a living hell, but an amazing one

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Having a huge map, with lots of corners to hide behind. Cliffs to look down on and spot people on. If the maps were outstanding, it would

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Win everything

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you had to loot all your gear and run through a maps with traps, rough terrain and NPC's guarding good loot. That would be awesome

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dodging intensifies

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just want something more fantasy based with heavy melee combat instead of lots of guns because my aim is garbage as I get older.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i am also having trouble in apex legends lol

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah. Only played 3, but don't the unkindled beat on each other pretty much 24/7?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rolling simulator 2020.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You Died

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Imagine a battle Royale, 100 players, only one dungeon or battle arena. And a boss, to add extra challenge. Chaos, perfect for dark souls.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*terrified screaming*

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

might actually play that one

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Actually,quantum mechanics forbids this

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just join the way of blue in ds3 and afk somewhere. You'll get summoned to gangbangs all the time. The key is caestus only

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Caestus works really well, but unless they've nerfed the ultra poise of the wolf ring and pickaxe I don't know if it will counter it well.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please no. Let's keep dark souls pure of this trend as long as possible. :(

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well, this is your lucky day! 5 years later they made elden ring nightreign

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Havent seen aBR that adds something to the game apart fromTetris99 Everytime I think"Damn the combat is nice I wish they made a proper game"

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This, I don't get why people shit on the idea of BR; if it's an implemented on a different style of game so it's more than just a pubg clone

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then who cares if the game has br elements?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isn't that just For Honor?

7 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 18

No.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

For Honor is not Battle Royale

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Darkroot garden, Blight Town, painted world... Anor Londo as the battle field, archers, Everywhere.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you seen their netcode? i mean even pubg has a better one and pubg is pretty shitty.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How about a goal oriented battle royal. 100 players put at random ends of a maze. With a treasure or boss in the center?

7 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 1

But only after getting past a dragon, and retrieving a loved one from the merfolk, am I right?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Random "rooms" with the fog walls, you enter to see if you get gear or you get a boss.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This would be dope single player tbh

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You pick up random gear and weapons along the way and confront enemy fodder and mini bosses.

7 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

Either choose to work with or kill other players for their loot. First to make it to the center wins. This sense of urgency would make

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

You'd have to make it some kind of conscious action to attack, though... Dark Souls co-op with full friendly fire sounds terrible.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is already a covenant in DS3 that let's you do just that though. I think it would be doable.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The closing circle concept unnecessary. And singles and squad gameplay would still fit the dark souls theme.

7 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

The whole thing can be randomly generated bloodborne chalice dungeons style.

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

don't we already have that with invasion and stuff?

7 years ago | Likes 197 Dislikes 2

Nah. Imagine Dark Souls with 100 players.

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Well not really. Just imagine that on a mass scale. Would be epic for like 5 minutes. Then everyone would rage quit.

7 years ago | Likes 148 Dislikes 3

lag out*

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Or it’s a really small map so it’s like a LOTR war

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds like you need to get good bud

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

large scale battles through hell, maybe dark souls it up by adding the ghost from ds1

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

How the fuck you gonna find a transient curse?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

LOL everyone gets summoned and theres just weapons in the middle. "Fuck! I picked up throwing knives!" As someone is punching you to death

7 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

lets be real, there's gonna be at least 1 naked guy fisting everyone to death still.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You can just punch them back in turn, throwing knives are not a weapon slot.

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yeah but then someone comes running in with Vordt's Hammer and smashes you both

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It sounds like fun. The enclosing storm, w/the Dark souls hostile level design, and the combat mechanics. Question is what to do about magic

7 years ago | Likes 808 Dislikes 26

Dark bead op

7 years ago | Likes 0 Dislikes 0

I'd want the hostile level design to be so bad that boobs wouldn't get to see enemy players. Also, winner HAS to make fibal circle, so (1)

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

(2) if all 100 people die before final circle, nobody wins.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think the magic just needs to be reworked. Some of the spells like soul greatsword are pretty balanced if you ask me

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

no

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Gitgood

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Maybe with npc enemies about the map to interfere with your fights against other players.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can you imagine, the storm closes in around a massive, tall tower, and everyone has to fight their way to the top.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, I have enough problems with naked guys invading my world and killing me at inopportune times.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You could probably leave magic in. Just go with the atonement slots with limited casts rather than a mana bar. Gotta have mimics though.

7 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

STORM IS MIMICS

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Do they drop loot?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. Which is also mimics.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or thy all drop symbol of Avarice.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Upvote for mimics

7 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

environmental deaths should be allowed and a single black knight to top off at the end

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

The storm is not a storm. Just approaching archers. Get caught outside and BLAM 42 log sized arrows.

7 years ago | Likes 436 Dislikes 0

Honestly it would just be the abyss

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Covenant of Artorias ring OP.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And not just any arrows. Millwood greatbow arrows. BOOM

7 years ago | Likes 173 Dislikes 0

Phew, I dodged, looks like I'm saf- *BOOM*

7 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

*body flies off tree branch path* YOU DIED

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Okay we need this...

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

No it should be the skeletons and skellydogs from the ds1 tombs. And divine won't stop the resurrection

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about both? Archers are the storm, in the enclosing clouds reigning down lightning strikes

7 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

The enclosing clouds are the battle between the dragons and the 4 gods in DS1

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You just triggered my ptsd

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I have to ask, wtf is that?

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The original battle royal. Cant remember the name of the movie but it was the ground work of the whole idea.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And Tex....well I don't rightly recall where Tex was from.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Battle Royale

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I've always been rather fond of the idea of an MMO with Dark Souls' combat. I know it couldn't be a Dark Souls in atmosphere, though. (1/?)

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

BDO is what you are looking for.

7 years ago | Likes 0 Dislikes 6

No. No it is not

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In what world lmao

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In this world

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Black Desert Online, I presume.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Imagine dungeons. The concept would even allow for running dungeons without the usual tank/healer/DPS trio, since it'd be skill-based. (2/2)

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Invictus is/was like that, not quite as hardcore. I only played for a few days but i remember it was kinda fun.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dark Souls is already an MMO. Didn't you get your soapstone?

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I would not go so far as to call dark souls an mmo. While there is a multiplayer aspect, the majority of the game is not based on it.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Multiplayer =/= MMO. MMO implies massively multiplayer online gameplay, not like 5 people in one game tops.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Which is unfortunately the direction a lot of MMOs are taking as well. Small party sizes.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1
