For the historically minded, I recommend a deep dive on the Hayes code, it shaped movie history and I personally think is one of the single biggest driving factors behind why boomers have no real concept of what life before 1950 was like.

Not trying to downplay it but Photo development was a pretty big hobby back in the day. Loads of people had little dark room setups. My wife has a load of photos of her grandfather that are on random off cuts of photo paper.
