Catholics are just mad they're not the biggest organized pedophile ring known to the public anymore. They can Buddy Christ the whole thing up and modernize their business in an attempt to pull in younger, hipper people to tithe but it's still a shitty business that takes advantage of the gullible and weak-willed.
And to be clear: fuck this administration, too. This is just a case of two of the worst people you know not getting along. It doesn't suddenly make one of them your friend.
My favorite part is how he has continued to shield wanted priests at the Vatican and whitewashes the bigotry from the church and continues to fund anti abortion campaigns. Oh wait no that's not my favorite part at all. Fuck the Catholic Church and their fake progressive pope.
Hasn't done jack shit to bring any pedo priests to justice nor stop the church's anti abortion funding. But keep cheerleading for the fake ass progressive. Fuck the pope.
That's fine if you're not in/from the Chicagoland area. If you're in the city and say you're from the city but you're actually from the 'burbs, you're gonna get your ass beat.
Going to guess the Pope does not spend a lot of time in the Chicagoland area these days, so it's probably fine to just say generally that he's from Chicago.
Lol as someone from Chicago let me tell you, we don't care nearly that much. Unless you're from Naperville and claim to be from Chicago, that is some bullshit 😂
I did, indeed, live in Naperville for a time. Glad I don't have any reason to go back. But also Bolingbrook and Plainfield and Lisle and my perception was shaped by all of those places.
Ah fair enough. I had a friend in college who grew up in Glencoe and kept telling people he was from the south side, so as long folks aren't that delusional I'm good lol
I'm not the most patriotic sort, but it does really suck that this orange shitstain will be squatting in the office for the 250th anniversary. But I guess thinking about it now, it's no better than the country deserves...
It's a sad reminder of what the conservative wing of politics has done to this nation.
The 250th should be a day of mourning, not celebration. The experiment is on its last legs, if Republicans stay in full control of government after 2026.
The experiment has failed. The US is deep into part 5 of the classic seven part fall that all empires suffer. It happened to Spain and Britain in exactly the same order
Agreed. We could've been celebrating it with the 1st woman president in our history. With. No war in Iran. And who knows maybe she would've been able to make headway in the ukraine/Palestine wars.
As far as voter age groups are concerned it looks to me like Generation X has been largely responsible for where we are today. Guess we will just have to wait for Generation Y to take over.

I am not saying it is AI, but without checking ourselves.
Infact now people can just use that image to claim theirs is real

He also recently said that god doesn't listen to the prayers of people who wage war.

Under the dress?

Yes. He's actually a billionaire play boy. He only turns into popeman when fighting corrupt politicians

My favorite bit about the Pope is when he met Mar Awa III, the Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East gave him a Cubs Jersey.
Pope Leo is a White Sox fan. That is top-tier, good-natured trolling.

Mar Awa III is *also* from Chicago. And a Cubs fan (as all reasonable people should be).

Probably doesn't want Vance to kill him and make a pope couch with his frock.

It’s a fair concern. JD Vance killed the last Pope.

Born in the city, raised in a south suburb that bordered the city, so I'd say he's from Chicago.

Yeah...we really went downhill after the Boomers took over the entire government and refused to give it up for half a century...
DdCno1
The whole generational conflict thing is nothing but a distraction. It wasn't boomers, but a tiny number of ultra-rich people.
