There's also the economic factors. Many millennials don't have kids or homes despite having an education and successful careers. We've been through so many once in a lifetime crises. I do want to leave, simply to be able to purchase a home without a PMI, and perhaps start a family where the infant death ratio is so abysmal. I don't want to have kids where they must go through active shooter drills. It's okay to want to leave if you can.

I can't even do that and my Dad is eligible for Irish citizenship, and I've lived next door to Ireland for nearly 40 years and worked over there many times. I don't know why so many Americans think theirs is the only country with immigration laws, having said that I do think Europe should welcome Americans who are in need of help or in fear of the administration. But it isnt as easy as coming here and buying a house.

I mean we take asylum seekers in all conditions from many other places around the world. It'll be harder to show that youre in imminent danger and require asylum than people from war zones etc. but it might not be impossible. If I was facing death at the hands of health insurance in America I'd argue all day long that it fits the requirements, but I'm not sure about disability. Worth a google, if nothing else, it's nice over here and all are welcome (by me, sadly not by everyone).
