It's two cartoonish mascots performing classic slapstick like you would see from the 3 Stooges, Loony Toons or Animaniacs. If you don't find it funny you're a humorless gramp yelling at kids to get off his lawn.

Hell, that's been true of the closest mall to me about 6 months after it opened. I don't think there's been a single day that every store was occupied, always 1 or 2 empties with a sign saying "coming soon: x" and then a year later "coming soon: y"

The lone, regional mall near me (Frostbite Falls-adjacent) was so empty a year ago, I shot a pic both going forward and backward from the same spot; nobody in either pic. I have only been there once since; calendar kiosk.

Yeah, that’s the only reason, not the rise of online shopping and free delivery, that’d have nothing to do with it. (Shootings definitely didn’t help I’m not trying to imply they did, I just feel like it’s more to it than that)
