Buses are the king of vehicles, we don't wear bulletproof vests, buses (at least in the EU) are capped at 80km/h, though tourist /long-distance buses are usually fitted for 100km/h permits, buses sleep in bus depots/garages, and a Speed scenario is technically possible.

If you want to tell them "if we can't discuss it now, then we can't discuss it later, either," that is absolutely your call to make, but you're basically claiming that you have a right to their personal life whenever you want, and if you can't, then the don't have the right to ask for help later.
