I work in a grocery store, and there's 3 people on Night Shift and another 5 on day shift that look exactly like this dude, and not a single fucking one of them are in management or any other position of authority, for good reason.
It is kind of weird how shitty everyone has always treated him. Adults could assault him on camera when he was a minor and no one cared. He was clearly abused by the circle of people who made him famous. Plus, every boy with a crush on a girl who liked Justin Bieber made him his mortal enemy. All the guy did was...sing well?
He might have a laundry list of crimes now, but he was definitely failed as a kid on multiple levels.
I agree 100%. And since the Diddy news, and what probably happened to him at those parties, I've seen a lot of the criticism of Bieber get a lot quieter. Dude is going thru some rough shit.
As a jealous preteen/teen from that era, for sure, but since I've been an adult I only remember 2 things about him, that he went speeding through his neighborhood while kids were playing and their athlete dad showed up to confront him and he ran like a coward and that he looked like a roofer, and the second one is a joke at his expense, but not that bad, other than that, I do feel bad for the dude. His parents failed at their only job.
I mean to be fair when he was a child he spent 48 hours at diddys house he was almost certainly abused like everyone else I think his poor choices are a result of trauma and fame and wealth at a young age
There's literally a video of him at 16ish at a club that appears to be him blowing another man and come up after they realize a video camera is on them. He went to Diddy's creampuff ice cream camp or whatever the fuck he called it, he 100% got abused and passed around for a shot at fame and his PARENTS ALLOWED AND ENCOURAGED IT FOR THE MONEY!
Yes. I believe he is one of many of Diddy's victims. At the time many said "what do you expect from a kid with a billion dollars", but I am sure it was more than that.
I think it's probably unfair to dislike him as a person, since being world famous at such a young age and doing massive tours and all that has to negatively affect your development. Plus the sort of "celebrity industry" is well known to be fucked up, so I imagine that wouldn't help either.
This might be a bit too much but that's what it is and I think we should normalize actively talking about how disgusting many many things in Hollywood are.
Yeah, I’m counting any downvotes as the equivalent of putting their fingers in their ears and going lalala don’t want to hear it, which is what lets things escalate to as bad as they’ve gotten.
What he does have going for him is his ability to create lyrics at a drop of a hat. John Mayer said it was uncanny how quickly he could write up lyrics. Never been a fan of Bieber's music but I can recognize he has a talent.
Nice, I have a vehicle that is common amongst insecure men, and it always makes me lowkey worried that people think I'm insecure, etc, which makes me insecure. I don't rattle pipes in front of people's homes and stuff either though soooooo

Oh, honey…

Probably hasn't taken enough drugs to forget or enough therapy to process all that went down with him and Diddy that one weekend.
baliverne
After learning he used to hang out with Diddy, some things started to make sense.
PolarAntonyms
Oh please, he was a child. If you watch videos - he was clearly uncomfortable around Diddy. He’s a victim, if anything.
baliverne
Yes. I believe he is one of many of Diddy's victims. At the time many said "what do you expect from a kid with a billion dollars", but I am sure it was more than that.

I'm fairly sure that's what they meant. Often groomed children go on to be self destructive, loud, rambunctious, obnoxious and toxic. Like JB was.

As much as I don't like him, I have heard that he has been working at bettering himself, so I applaud and support him.

Oh he's a celebrity? I just assumed she was fawning over her boyfriend or something.
Nichols3
It's Justin Bieber, he's a pop singer who got famous at like 14.
Colopty
Yeah I know about him, just completely forgot what he looked like.
BlueRonfar
Think he was passed around at a Diddy party?
Raikupath
Do you think a hollywood star that big at such a young age achieved it because of raw talent? It wasn't the talent that was ra.
rylands
Think its less about talent and more of "this person can make us loads of money", talent or no talent

I saw a clip of him playing drums once and he was actually really good. He was rusty - I doubt he does it much but his technique was on point
