how sad and embarrassing... I remember 1976 as a kid and there way WAY more national pride amongst everyone for the entire year. an ENTIRE year, everyone was proud.
FWIF- lots of the worlds fair's had similar fakery made of plaster and hay and just enough paint that they lasted a year. This is just a joke.
