Cranberry sauce on meat or baked camembert tastes pretty good. So why not strawberry jam.

Did he ever eat racial harmony? Was it any good?

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I literally had a burrito last night with ground beef, jalapeños and raisins. I’ve also eaten ham crepes with a honey-based sauce.

I make ham with a glaze of butter, brown sugar, cherry preserves, and pineapple chunks.

Savory meats can be paired with sweet fruits quite well.

loving this new season. And Kumail is playing well for the US. (He's not gonna win though no way he wins)

Did he try it? Did he like it? I tell u wut, I'd eat the HECK outta that!

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Greg didn't, but Alex did try it. And he found it horrible.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Alex looks like the sort of sod that likes marmite and eats it by the spoonful.

The dead serious “Call it by its name” got me. Had to rewind because I was laughing over the rest of the bit.

Oh my, I've never seen Greg so flutstered.

Swedish meatballs (at least the ones my mom makes) have beef, pork, and grape jelly. Cook them on a crock pot and bam! Sweet, soft, balls of meat.

I'm Ikean, so Svedish meatballs on a stick with some lingonberry jam sounds like Tuesday..

Sometimes I think about how there's a whole realm of potential dishes that combine middle-eastern style and flavors with pork but they just haven't been invented yet.

His frat bro psychopath role in Fallout was great.

I watched that episode 3 times already. I really like watching taskmater with dinner and it took a while for episode 5 to become available to me. I have seen 5 and 6 now. This season is great

Get a procedure to remove the buccal fat, as well as silicone implants.

Or genetics and eating chewy and crunchy food a lot. There are also jaw workout tools that are basically the things people with Tourette’s syndrome wear around their neck to stick in their mouth when they want to control a particularly bad tick lol.

3 months ago | Likes 225 Dislikes 4

@TCooley79 yay!! Taskmaster fan.... do you have a favorite season?

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm not T cools but I just defer always to my latest favorites. 19 to present are all gold. 19 was the JV Martzoukas season (JV 4 lyfe). 20 was really good and it ended in a really funny way (I'll do a part 2 comment with the spoiler). Otherwise, 16 was good and honestly maybe favorite: 12. That was the one with Alan Davies, Victoria Corin-Mitchell, Desiree Burch, Guz Khan, and Morgana Robinson. So delightful. 11 was good too. 1/2

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 anyway the spoiler ending: it was a three way tie at the finale so everything came down to a tie breaker. During a team task earlier, one team was disqualified because Sanjeev opened a cupboard. If he hadn't done that it would have been a two way tie between Phil and Ania. Maisie wouldn't have gotten the extra points to be tied. Then she ended up winning. So basically, Sanjeev opening a cupboard was the reason Maisie won and not Phil. And it was hilarious. She was just like "wot?"

Mantzoukas was the sportscaster for Coconkers and it was the highlight of my Thursday night. And Kumail won the episode so... go America!

Pakistan! Pakistan! Pakistan!

3 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

He is dueling the Brits for the honor of two nations

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's taskmaster, so if there's a duel then both contestants are blindfolded and welding a rubber chicken. Honor is nowhere to be seen.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you don't think Little Alex Horne is capable of generating honor from a rubber chicken, you have NOT been paying attention.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He was also phenomenal in his season

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ngl, I would eat the heck outta that. Its like tacos al pastor with spiced meats and a sweet fruit note. Which is a bridge cuisine as well of Mexicans and Turks/Lebanese immigrants in Ciudad de México

3 months ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

Little Alex Horne tried some and was not a fan

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a dish that I often eat called strawberry chicken. It's basically breaded similarly to General Tso, but instead of larger chunks they're more thin strips. And just slathered in a sort of strawberry jam/syrup-with-chunks. Can look mildly terribly but tastes amazing.

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Native American tribes too had their various versions of moosemeat and various minced berry jams, nothing too new or revolutionary

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Today I learned! Wrap that up in some fry bread and oooo-wee! Sounds fab!

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that sweet/savory combo actually sounds intriguing. Who would have thought I'd be a fan of racial harmony!?

3 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I would deffo try it. I love sweet and savoury. Peanut butter and jelly (or jam in UK) turkey and cranberry.
any non poisonous nut and chocolate.

I make meatballs for my family Christmas in a crock pot. The recipe includes barbecue sauce and blueberry jam.

Behold, the Monte Cristo:

3 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This isn’t a Monte Cristo, it looks deep fried. It’s like calling a chimichanga a burrito - sure it’s a type of one, but completely distinct all the same

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think any of us own the definition of what a MC is.

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, just like we don’t own the definition of burrito or anything else - I also denounce as heretical any restaurant that calls a sandwich made with French toast a Monte Cristo

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've never had a good one. I've had 3 piles of congealed frying oil. I long to find a place that understands the oil has to be as HOT AS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE to fry up the batter before saturating the entirety of the sandwich.

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If they’re deep frying them, they’re doing it wrong

If they’re making a sandwich on French toast, they’re doing it wrong

There’s a place in Portland that does them the right way, by frying them on the grill after they’ve been sitting in the egg batter all night

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's the Portland place? I'm curious to see if there are pics of what they make online.

Absolute banger of a sando. My first job in high school had these on the menu and this was my shift meal choice more than I’d care to admit xD A Mexican spot near me has one with chorizo as the special pretty often because the chef likes ‘em even more than I do. Served it up with spicy marionberry jam…

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Was that job at Bennigan's, by chance? Because if so, I had the same experience. The garbage my teenage body could put up with...amazing.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was not Bennigan’s, it was a mom and pop spot next to a bunch of middle aged lady tchotchke and antique shops

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So hard to find a place that has them, now. I know of one single diner in Metro Atlanta where they can be found, and they're just OK. Gordon Biersch had them on their brunch menu years ago, but no longer. Weirdly, there have been some Bennigan's ghost kitchens popping up that I need to try.

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep... I was watching this season of Taskmaster (he is on it with Armando Ianucci) and saw him, noting how much he looked like the dude in Silicon Valley...

I think it is cuz he got so big and that show seemed so much smaller than he is now.

And adventure time!

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, TBH I was really invested in the whole BOS storyline and was pretty disappointed in how it was basically dropped halfway through. I like the 2nd season but that and Norm storyline were a bit disappointing because I envisioned them going in a different direction that i think i would have liked better.

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was the opposite. I was not invested in the BOS at all and felt that overall this season's pacing was way too chopped up, bouncing from each plot line to the next every 30 seconds. So, kinda glad they steered away from it, at least for a few episodes.

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He was in s2? Haven't seen it. I'm still in shell shock from watching Invincible but I don't remember him in season 1. Wait fuckin hold up, that's Prime right? That's what I'm borrowing while I cat sit. Gotta watch the Fallout

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Kumail wasn't in s1. He is a new character that shows up in episode 2 or 3 and is only there for about an episode

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm partway through s2e1 right now and I weirdly feel like I've seen this episode before.... but I know for a fact that I've not seen the season. Idk if I've just seen clips or watched it drunk one time or something but this is so familiar...

Anyway my mission should I choose to accept it is binge all of season 2 in the next 48 hours

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What did you have in mind?

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didnt want Maximus to leave as soon as the shit hit the fan. Would have liked it better if he stuck around a bit longer and maybe took over his chapter before being ousted for another reason.

With Norm, I would have liked for him to learn more about what Bud's long term plans were, and after everyone up I wish he had stayed in more of a leadership role and had to struggle to keep them alive in this new world. Instead he almost immediately let that other guy take charge and was rather passive

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm still of the opinion that 2 major changes would make the Fallout tv show better.
1, make it episodic anthology
2, 18 episode seasons

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wholly agree that the seasons need to be longer. As it stands they try to cram so much into 10 episodes, and it results in ridiculous pacing issues.

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed. Everything is a rush to get to the end with no room for characters to stop and grow
