#1 is a true representation of a sh*t hole country falling on its face

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but at least UncleSlam keeps reminding me that I'm not completely dull.

#8 first of all, never ever ever pull things through a table saw, second what in the hell were you thinking bro?

1 week ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

#5 Forgot to say, "Here, hold my beer."
#9 Detail I missed the other time I saw this: the two kindly truckers that pull over across from the undeserving idiot.

1 week ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Well, every human being in distress deserves help.
Furthermore, in some jurisdictions it would be illegal to leave one without help.

#7 camera guy at back was like "I'm a professional, I was contracted to record this, and by God I will do just that, no matter the results"

Love how the driver checked his car before the idiot biker. Kudos.

Imagine the nightmare if u were to have this happen to you, but u were in a well insulated, sound proof garage, and were all alone. How long would it be before someone decided to check on you....? This kinda shit is nightmare fuel lol.

127 hours at the least

That's why you prepare the scene. Literally anything placed in the bay would have been enough to stop the hood from closing.

Sadly, no. No Darwin Award here, it didn't chop off his nuts, he's still capable of breeding. So he'll probably have half a dozen kids at least.

What is it about fire/fireworks that brings out the dumb in people

1 week ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Fourth of July brings out Americans. Therefore, dumb people.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I think it's always there. The fireworks just effectively demonstrate it.

Like people seeing a reporter and a TV camera

#1 Dude trumped the shit out of that landing.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

#10 this isn't a cheap repair. That chimney bent some trusses underneath. Not just the roof, tar paper and shingles. This damaged the roof structure. You can see it change shape at impact.

1 week ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

By the looks of that house, it may now be totaled. Get out the bull dozer.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It may well be. Without getting to examine it, cant say for 100%.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I believe this is the kind of repair that should involve a structural engineer but you know these clowns won't spend that money.

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

They would bitch about having to replace the relatively cheap shingles and wood underneath. (Not counting the trusses.) Which would be a few hundred dollars. Depending when and where this took place. Replacing the trusses and possibly studs, or parts of the double top plate. But at least 2, maybe 3 trusses need replaced guaranteed.

1 week ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Did you LOOK at him? The cruelties of middle age had already taken him out of the gene pool.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I did too. But then thought it's mighty convenient he happened to be positioned right under the security camera. That also recorded sound.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And who the hell cuts anything like that by pulling. I choose to think the audio was added and it's staged.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s pointed at a driveway, which is a pretty common place to point a camera as well as work if you don’t have shop space. And a lot of newer cameras, even outdoors, offer sound recording capabilities. I don’t know that the quality is worth the added feature, but it probably doesn’t add much cost. That’s not to definitively say it isn’t staged, but it seems like a plausible setup and not likely staged.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, yeah, that one was actually scary.
Some very bad mistakes where made there.

1 week ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

Extremely lucky he didn’t have the blade adjusted to full height.

1 week ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

yeah not how i would have done that

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I’m not even convinced that he learned his lesson. He’ll probably do it again, only standing slightly further away. Even if he didn’t take shop class, physics could have enlightened him

I didn’t think it was possible to set up and use a table saw THAT incorrectly.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am amazed actually. It never occurred to me, not even once, there might be idiots out there PULLING stuff over a table saw towards them. Not because i thought of the potential risks, but because i have never seen anyone doing it.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same. Holy shit.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Working with table saws I’m always conscious of kickback, falling forward onto the blade, fingers in the cutting path. This…this is a whole new hazard I’d never thought of.

1 week ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Yeah, and working with anything I am conscious of my wiener and preventing its detachment from my person.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I should call her.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You never pull the workpiece towards you, so it's not really something that could happen to most people. It's one of the easiest things to get injured on through incaution and inattention though and the shop machine most likely to injure expert users, though I guess this guy at least dodged the 'expert user' bit.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

An ironic thing about wood working shops is the most injuries in raw numbers are things like chisels. People prepare mentally for potential errors with big machines and take precautions, and then think "eh what's a lil' ol' chisel going to do to me", then blam. Bye bye tendon and/or nerves.

#5 Friendly reminder that this is super dangerous. Cold shock can kill you quickly

https://www.opb.org/article/2026/06/30/blue-pool-willamette-national-forest-man-dies/

1 week ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Reminder that people regularly jump into frozen water for fun with no problems. You just need to be mentally prepared for what you're doing. The guy in that story probably was not.

1 week ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

You're minimizing the risk: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_shock_response

If your whole body goes under and it's a deep body of water, your brain stem will light up like a Christmas tree due to the cold shock response. The first involuntary reflex is to take a deep gasp, which can cause you to start immediately drowning. Winter swimmers are trained to wade into very cold water for this exact reason, if we're talking about people who regularly do this for fun.

1 week ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I nearly drowned in Australia because of this, we were out hiking and it was super hot like 40+, then we went down into this big ravine that had a body of water at the bottom, as soon as my body hit the water i pretty much locked up and started to sink like a stone. The only reason i lived was because someone else noticed and saved me. It was a really deep/narrow ravine that stays in the shade most of the day so i guess the water was still down close to the overnight desert temp 😨

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That sounds horrifying! Glad you’re okay!

#9 why do motorcyclists try to brake check anyone? I mean, it's a bad idea in general, but that's a battle you will never win

1 week ago | Likes 283 Dislikes 5

That’s obvious AI. The way the bike goes down and slides is very uncanny

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

As a motorcyclist, why the fuck would anyone do that? being out there with cars is terrifying! I want no part bumpers, front or back.

1 week ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 2

I have never heard of anyone doing that. I'm mad at you so I'm going to let you run me over ?

Crawling/writhing in pain on the road, probably with a few leg fractures

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Possibly, if hed stuck that left leg out (we can't see) but it looked like an easy get-off other than that

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a motorcyclist, I have no idea. It's incredibly obvious out there that the car drivers are in their nice, safe cages, and you're not. That's part of the appeal of the thing. It doesn't feel safe.

1 week ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Idiots do what idiots do.

1 week ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Probably because among the motorcycle riders who get viral on social media the amount of idiots is much higher than in general population.

1 week ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 5

There are old motorcyclists and there are bold motorcyclists, but there are no old bold motorcyclists.

1 week ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 2

There aren't that many old motorcyclists. It's 12 times deadlier than driving a car. I'm living close to some twisty roads with exceptionally poor visibility, lots of elevation changes and all sorts of crap on the road surface. Every weekend (or shortly before that, because they are banned from driving there on weekends, not that they care), a few of them die there.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That's very interesting, I've never heard of a public road that can specify no motorcycles, but allow cars, much less designate a time for the ban. There's bans for over a certain weight but afaik, at least here, motorcycles are allowed anywhere a car could otherwise go. Where is this at?

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There are a couple of "racetracks" where motorcycles are only allowed 50km/h and cars 100. And police also enforces it. Also there are roads where motorcycles are not allowed, e.g. in front of hospitals (in the city).
Mostly because of some assholes.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In Germany.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

This may even be enough evidence to exonerate the person driving the car, but I’m inclined to say they’re both at fault here even though the biker instigated.

1 week ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 17

Pete Hornburger did nothing wrong

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Few things in the clip make me wonder if maybe the guy on the motorcycle had been making it obvious he was trying to not just check him but stop him and attack him. Drivers actions make a lot more sense in the clip if that is the case.

1 week ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Yes - car was tailgating after the initial cutoff. Should have just slowed down and let the biker fuck off

1 week ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 23

I've never seen anybody call cutting someone off then slowing down in front of them being tailgated..

1 week ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

Well maybe Thats cause you’re not paying enough attention to when the driver accelerates when the biker accelerates?

They were both driving aggressively and stupidly, just one of them was even more stupid.

If the driver actually slowed down enough he wouldn’t have been close enough to hit him. When someone is driving crazy, you wanna get as much distance as possible from them. Shit, maybe just move out of the passing lane at least

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 15

I'm not paying enough attention? you can see the ass of the bike lift up just before the hit.. he brake checked the car like a moron, because only a fucking moron with an death wish would brake check a 4 wheeled vehicle on two wheels..

again.. cutting someone off and then slowing down while right in front of them is not the definition of tailgating...

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Tapping the cadence of the white dashed lines, seems the car driver was slowing down the whole time the bike was in front of him

1 week ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

No, they slow down but you can see they speed back up

Part of why they appear to slow down is because they move to the left of the lane, changing the vantage point of the lines

When they go back to the right you can see the lines are moving faster again

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 12

That was certainly insufficient, unless of course someone is on their ass too.

It’s always dangerous to play games on the highway
