And when he gets there, he'll want 100 trillion.

sociopaths cannot feel love, so the only thing that matters to them is winning, and money is a proxy for that.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The fact he's even close to on his way to $1T is already a massive failure on the systems of the USA. Tax the rich, destroy monopolies and oligopolies, and generally start focusing on policy from the bottom up, not the top down.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Bust!

3 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

bust.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I vote for bust

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

it's an amount of money that doesn't even make sense. just tell him he has a googolplex of dollars. it's functionally the same as a billion dollars. it doesn't matter. it's still not enough money to make him cool or interesting.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If the release mechanism is too hard to build, you can cut your "mElons" by simply pulling the rope and let go.

3 months ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

something something compost tumbler

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Sure, but he’s not really the issue, it’s the system that creates him and rewards him for his greed. If you keep the system (capitalism) you can get rid of any of them and a million will just take their place 🤷🏻 the healthcare ceo that got “Luigi’d” probably got replaced before his body was even cold

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Spending $1 trillion in one year would require spending approximately $31,700 every SECOND of every day. That's about $2.74 BILLION per day, 365 days a year, and that's for ONE trillion. Elon is 54 so let's guess that he has 30 years left, and for the sake of argument let's say he already has $10T so can spend it right now. That's $1T/3 years or roughly $913,250,000 per day, again, 365 days a year, for 30 years.

Yeah, I know, value on paper != liquidity. It's still fucking ludicrous.

All that money and he’ll still never be cool

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Karl Marx did see Musk coming, and he taught us to fight him. We didn't want communism, and now we have empty pockets. Who owns the capitalistic world wants ALL the money, nothing left for us.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

so the US economy is worth about $32 trillion and here you have one lone man who wants to capture and hold one third of it for himself. how much of an impact will that have on the rest of the population?

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

But he still won't be happy...

3 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

You all heard the man child. "or bust" Let's bankrupt him.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

he is mortal. very, very mortal.

3 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

A thousand more will take his place. It’s a systemic issue.

3 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

It wouldn't be as much of a problem if a thousand more would take his place, that fact that two guys are gonna take his place is a lot more concerning.

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I vote bust

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So he wants to deprive ten times as many people of resources. Great

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So we have to kill him, right? Like he’s fucked up so much of the world to get to 1 trillion, if he’s aiming for 10, this is a matter of self defence for us now.

3 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It doesn’t want matter. The issue isn’t one person, it’s a system that not only incentivizes but praises this kind of greed. The issue is ✨capitalism✨

3 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

To bes fair, that person is AN issue for sure.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sure, but it’s not like there aren’t countless assholes who would want the same thing in that position. It’s like the healthcare ceo, he was replaced before his body was even cold.

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and it took him years and more money and corruption than those others have to get to that point, getting rid of him would make things better if only because the nazis wouldn't be as emboldened by a guy who shoots out nazi salutes being the winner of capitalism. Just because people want to be the top shithead doesn't mean the current top shithead isn't the worst. And a mechanism to get rid of him would be great.

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He doesn't deserve to be alive

3 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

1,000 people are ready to take his place. It’s a systemic issue. If you don’t remove the system that created him (capitalism) they’ll just keep coming

3 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

I know, I wasn't suggesting it would solve the whole problem, but wouldn't it just be nice, at least for a moment, if he were to perish?

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Th3n what was your point in posting this other than point farming? Killing him would be an excellent first step.

Holy shit the follow up almost surpasses the original observation.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oops all Scollins!

3 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

It's true. My dbag roommate and his Nazi sister love Elon. And RFK jr and Johnny Depp.

3 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What's wrong with Johnny Depp?

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why?!

I genuinely can't understand someone wanting this much money. Surely there comes a point where you don't need any more?

3 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Oh he’s well past that. I’m not sure he could spend the 400bil he has now if he tried, shy of just buying every island he can.

The answer is that it’s a sickness. The wealthiest man on the planet will always be willing to spend hundreds of millions to get a tax cut. It’s not a “wrong person” thing, it’s a systemic thing. And that system is ✨capitalism✨

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I live in capitalism and I have no instinct to gather this much, or to get a tax cut. I think it is, at least partly, a "wrong person" thing.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No offense dude, you’re not in his situation. My job has me schmoozing with rich people all the time. Trust me, they don’t see us as people and are completely oblivious to the real work. And it doesn’t really matter where you start. The owner of Starbucks was a poor kid who now union busts 🤷🏻

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Palantir has AI murder drones stop putting a target on yourself

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

No point in getting a message out if the mods take it down. What’s the value of conviction then?

3 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

What message are they getting out? Elon musk is a disgusting animal who deserves to be put down? Real revolutionary stuff being passed back and forth here. None of you are freedom fighters fighting for a better tomorrow, its all point farming by posting the Meme of the day. NUT UP OR SHUT UP.

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

The funny thing is that you have a solid point that gets lost in the mix when you lose composure and attack strangers over it.

Alienating yourself from the people who would otherwise agree with you for no outward benefit isn’t activism, it’s acting like an asshole.

3 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

What kind of sickness drives this abysmal desire to have ludicrously more than everyone else? I don’t understand the need.

3 months ago | Likes 250 Dislikes 1

It is the possibility to it. People will do this kind of shit if other people allows them to.

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

To most people, wealth is an instrumental goal. You don't pursue wealth to have wealth. You pursue wealth because wealth can be exchanged for goods and services that improve your quality of life, and those are the things you want.

Billionaires pursue wealth as the terminal goal, wealth for its own sake. They have long past the point where accumulating more wealth does not lead to any further improvement of the QoL It's just pathological hoarding. Like a dragon. They are societal parasites.

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ever play a game with cheat codes to take it to its limit and discover and experience all it has to offer? Then it gets old. No more mystery or fun.Theyve seen everything, tasted every exotic food or drink, been everwhere. Have all the toys and unlimited sex. I hear $300m is the line this starts happening to people. They entirely lose sense of reality and nothing is intriguing any more. They can only think of number go brrrrrr cuz money and power is the only thing left to give them any dopamine.

3 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

yup. I remember ruining a GTA 4 playthrough by using the casinos and strategic saves to max out money. It just became meaningless once you had all of it

They're dragons. They have no need for it or use for additional wealth. But they desire it anyway. They can never be satiated.

Im waiting for the phycology world to make billionaires a mental illness or disorder because there seems to be something broken in them to be okay with amassing so much wealth. It is hoarding they are hoarders.

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You seen those shows about hoarders? It's the same mental illness, just cash. They're incapable of enjoying it. Look at how all of these rich f***ers spend their time. They're straight up mentally ill.

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes. That is exactly what it appears like.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It is like playing an RPG. That is what reality has become for him and other billionaires.

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His goal by the end of his lifetime is 53 trillion, which would require enslaving everyone else on earth, make involuntary breeding factories, start them in workforce at age 8, send minors to mine asteroid belts and the moon, in addition to every unsafe vocation in rural and remote areas for thirty years to appease his greed. Safety protocols would go out the window and science ethics all erased, hourly rocket launches from multiple space elevators, robotic overlords and machine gun hounds

3 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's an addiction, first to wealth, then when you have more than you can possibly need, to the power that wealth brings.

3 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Greed has existed just as long as humanity. I'm not a religious person but I agree it's a deadly sin.

3 months ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

and the gross world product is only $126 trillion so he wants to control 80% of the world economy. no. this has to end. the quick way is illegal but the better way is top just stop buying or using his products.

for example, Rogers cell phone network is now offering satellite service on their network BUT it is leased, as far as i know, from Starlink. therefore, i will never be a Roger's cell phone customer.

3 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

GWP is very different than private wealth...the former is the amount of money trading back and forth in total, which doesn't include wealth not traded within that time period, which is the majority of billionaires wealth.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

it's pathological and is an immediate threat to both him and the people around him. he should be institutionalized. against his will if necessary. just like everyone else who pursues wealth for it's own sake.

3 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Their greed is an existential threat to the survival of the human race. We absolutely need to lock them in loony bins and throw away the key. And that's showing them 10 trillion times more mercy than they deserve.

3 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

In musks case it clearly is part of some attempt to fill the void of a deeply lonely man who is his own worst enemy in solving that problem. So alone and incredibly unlikable

3 months ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 0

Thats pretty much all venture capitalists. They are deeply broken humans.

3 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Any capitalist is a broken person. Since the industrial revolution we have been a post scarcity society so the very concept of market forces in our modern society exist to deprive people of available resources not to distribute them equitably.

3 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Yes, but we've also veered so far from actual capitalism, which in fairness was an improvement of Mercantile Colonialism (with some crossover of course, it's not clear cut) that to call it Capitalism doesn't really capture it, it's not free markets its private gatekeepers/rentiers (e.g. Amazon, Google, Apple, Steam, Microsoft even if seen as benevolent) and capital being extracted to shareholders rather than funding productive growth. Lets just call it greed.

3 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sure, but the very concept of capital in the first place was the evolution of the reciprocal property inherent to 95% of the population that allowed for the specialization required for things like agriculture, philosophy, the sciences, art, and politics to develop. Like part of our whole social evolution and group dynamics is a hardwired belief in fairness. Trade, and later money, were tied to labor to ensure people would have roughly equitable treatment based on what they were able to do for 1/

Nah, a bust usually has shoulders, the machine depicted cuts too high for that.

3 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, hes not spending it the old fashioned way like us either. It is so hard to spend just 1/10th of that in a lifetime. That's called being a king, not a human. He essentially wants a feudal system where he gets rings kissed while the people are in the fields

3 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

He has more power than any king. He already has a feudal system. Democracy under capitalism is a sham to keep you from overthrowing him
