#13 I got tested twice for autism, have enough of the good features to help me at my job but crippling anxiety. My sister apparently got the body dysmorphia (insane fitness buff) and all the OCD. And I mean all as in the entire population.

#35 jackanapes, the lot of these. It's 4 across the top row centered, one space in each corner, two centered in the front row.
Weight centered, all eggs as far from the opening as possible to prevent drops, and avoid corners for reduced breakage.

#1 Someone please link me a Bradbury book containing that short story. I have several Asimov books like that and want some Bradbury now!
thebonesofmyancestors
This book has his best short stories: "Bradbury Stories: 100 of His Most Celebrated Tales" I believe it is still in print.

Rufus be having an existential episode
DrGreenskies
Quite possibly. Plus there's a fan nearby that blows under the chair, and he likes to light in front of it after he bakes himself in the yard.

#1 is why I fear getting lost in space to this day. Never been nor plan too, but every time I see a space walk out whatnot I get extreme panic. It even applies to other planets, apparently, as I learned during interstellar dying on another planet than earth is also terrifying to me

I'm a "pick whichever egg looks the best out of the eggs in the carton, which makes it look like I've taken my eggs at random because I'm not starting to sort my eggs in order of bestness so that when I take them out it looks nice, otherwise it's something I will do forever and I don't need another thing like that in my life" personality type

#25 our current household project is hand excavating our sloped backyard to put in a deck. I lasted 1 (one) whole hour before I had sweat out all of my fluids and only did like 3 wheelbarrows full of dirt that was already pretilled a few weeks ago. It's only 25deg C here. Wtf were those kids on, meth?!

#20 maybe the wallpaper is the problem. Is it a particular shade of green?
Hoodedlurker1
Do you mean yellow?
WeeFreeTism
Probably a sickly yellow color with a pattern like an interminable string of toadstools, budding and sprouting in endless convolutions that hides the loathsome creeping woman that is you.

Dear historical weather nerds: Please tell us what the actual temperature of these "very hot" days in history because if they're just in the 80s and everybody was mad because they were wearing 5 layers of clothes, I think we have the right to know.
TrashCanEnthusiast
The Great Gatsby was the only one in this dump set after the invention of the electric fan. So even if was only 80 I think I'll give it to them.

#18 The 1833 first recorded use of scorcher in print as an agent noun from "scorch," was describing a blistering, caustic rebuke or critique . It was not until 1874 that the usage shifted to denote a sweltering, record-breaking hot day. The highest temperature recorded in New York City (Central Park) in 1874 was 36.6°C /98°F on June 29. The highest temperature recorded in London during the summer of 1874 was 32.8°C / 91°F, which occurred on July 22, 1874.

#12 shagnostic means you know of sex. So if theyâre ace, shouldnât they be ashagnostic?
steak22
The concept would be that the existence of sex is unknowable (perhaps for this individual). But I think the argument about shagnostic vs. ashagnostic has to do with whether we are allowing the âaâ in shag to have double duty as the prefix for gnostic. I really enjoy the silly language discussions people get into on Imgur.

"Oh I've heard of it alright. Truly frightful concept, I shall be having none of it."
Felderburg
It's not shag + gnostic, it's shag + agnostic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portmanteau
swofromtherock
No, toddlers are ashagnostic. They know nothing of it. Asexuals are fully aware and opt out.
chaotropicagent
Then shouldnât they be ashagist? Agnosticism isnât opting out.
swofromtherock
No. Ashagist would be insisting that shagging doesn't exist.
