#2 I'd be cheering loudly, that asshole driver wanted to splash the man on purpose.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this not AI or something? How is she not spilling beer everywhere before it breaks?

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 18

I'm really sorry you got slammed with downvotes just for asking a reasonable question.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I was a little surprised too

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's this weird thing some people have where their face has a hole that goes into their body. She's using a technique to store the liquid in that cavity, it's really amazing.

11 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

When she tips the glass up the surface of the beer is half way up her face! About an inch above her mouth. How is it not dribbling everywhere?

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It looks like her cheeks seal against the rim of the glass

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think she did? kinda looks like she's spitting some blood at the end

11 months ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

Nah it looks like its just the Guinness. It's actually brown if you see small spills of it, not jet black like it is in the glass. Shes lucky tho

11 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Oouf. Good catch.

This is soooo dangerous. If she inhaled or swallowed glass shards from the shock, she's in for a bad time.

Great reaction gif, very quickly taken from the game yesterday as well! The only appropriate reaction really after Novak ripped a great shot up the line

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I thought this was a new one. :D

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's just spitting out the beer, unless she's got real dark blood in her.

11 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

blood tends to be pretty dark in a dimly lit setting

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Going over it frame by frame, I'm still not seeing any blood. The liquid running down her lip is the same color as the liquid shooting out of her nose. She got lucky.

11 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'm with you. I think some here have the blood thirsty bias watching these videos.

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

#2 Very well deserved.

A wall will open if you pull hard enough.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Old fridge prob opened the other way.

11 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

OR (and I might be overly suspicious here but only because I have seen SOOO much of of what I am about to suggest…) it’s fake?

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Was waiting for someone to hit this up.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, you're not wrong!

Also, just in case you want to retain structural integrity, most fridges with that design allow you to easily switch the hinges/pivot from one side to the other.

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I've seen videos of Japanese fridges that can open on either side. I don't know how those hinges work, but I really really think I want one

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Usually a post inside the hinge that acts as a pivot and also a latch. Pull one side, pin slides out of a notch and acts as a latch, like an old gate latch. Other hinge with the same pin setup rotates slightly due to the angle of the door and now won't slide out of its own groove, allowing the door to use the post as a hinge on that side. A slight angle of the grooves inwards to the centreline of the door is all you'd need to keep the door from tipping off the fridge.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Should have lifted from the bottom.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm guessing their old fridge opened the otherwise. You can switch the hinges around on most fridges there are holes already prepared they just have caps over them, takes about 10 mins.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A friend if mine his pet peeve are statements with "...if you [action] enough", because those are per definition always true. "You can hit the moon if you piss hard enough" was his go to ad absurdum example.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Not the same argument but, well… if my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike.

#10 It was at that moment the parents decided the college fund wasn't needed.

11 months ago | Likes 183 Dislikes 6

Oh, hush. We all have our dum-dum moments. Especially when we're kids.

11 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 5

Also that type of fridge used to only come with visible handles you could swap with the hinges on either side that one looks to have embedded handles on both sides with just the hinge that can be moved around.

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

One slow day at work, I moved the break room fridge hinges to the other side of the door but left the handles in the original place. People were pulling the fridge away from the wall, trying to open it...

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Or get shards of glass in her eyes...hopefully

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

wut?

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of the Gary Larson comic with the kid pushing the door marked "PULL" at the "School for the gifted".

11 months ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Far side comic? My mom used to work at a college and they had that same comic cutout and hung up in one of the offices

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Midvale.

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That kid's level of struggle and despair is so apparent. Larson was an absolute artist.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

To be fair... that's a really dumb design for a fridge when you think about it. I mean, why can't they just staple on a freakin' handle somewhere, huh? Why'd it become standard to NOT include simple 'n' recognizable things we can grab, hold, drag and whatnot when needed, y'know?

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 7

That kind of fridge has handle holes on both sides- the hinge can be moved to the other side.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Space saving, and you don’t bump into a handle in a narrow space.

11 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Handles don't need to go *on the front* though. It could just as well be on the side. Or hell, make it a divot-style handle! There are so many better ways of designing that shit than the unclear, obtuse crap we get these days, but corpos are just too damn cheap 'n' lazy to bother making GOOD STUFF these days...

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

You're right grandpa. Okay, well, it looks like it's time to lie down for your nap, huh?

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It does have divot handles, they’re located on both sides to allow you to change the direction the door opens by moving the hinges. She’s pulling on the handle on the hinged side

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is #2 an Instant Karma moment? Looks like they may be trying to splash the old guy....

11 months ago | Likes 470 Dislikes 14

Maybe, I assumed they just weren't paying close attention to the road (possibly cellphone?) and the puddle obscured the edge of it so their peripheral vision couldn't tell they were driving off the edge.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My thoughts exactly.

11 months ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 9

Looks like distracted driving drift to me. Old guy is lucky he didn't get bonked by this dipshit driver. Well deserved karma either way.

11 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

That's how I read it.

11 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

There were two premium spots in my old town where this was possible. For safety, aim your driving curve so that you are already arcing away from the pedestrian when you hit the water. The Camaro that nailed me with an ocean of curbside water was an expert. Credit where credit is due.

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

That's what it looks like to me, too.

11 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Went through this last time it was posted...the guy's presence is pure coincidence. He's even coming from the side street. The driver never deviates, just drifts. He's already right on the gutter before he crosses the intersection. He only drifted around a foot over the course of 25 yrds.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought the exact same thing.

11 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

It looks like hemah have fallen asleep at the wheel too. Slowly drifting over foot off the gas

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

No. Guy was texting and driving or similarly distracted. He didn't swerve to hit the puddle, he drifted at a very slow and steady rate. There was no puddle by the pedestrian when he actually got to him so he COULDN'T have splashed him. And yet he didn't speed up which if he were trying to splash him he would have done to (a) line pedestrian up with puddle and (b) increase splash size. The pedestrian being there was just random.

11 months ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 13

Instant karma nonetheless for distracted driving

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats how I read it

11 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Eyyy it’s cousin Vinny here!

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This for sure. The driver was on a straight line into that pole

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Didn’t even get him. That’s a rare preemptive karma.

11 months ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 6

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because he wasn't trying to. Pedestrian being there at all was a coincidence. Guy was just texting or similarly distracted.

11 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 13

#9 That is the proper face you make when that happens.

11 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

#4 is that the French tomb of the unknown soldier? There are no guards around it?

11 months ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

Anyone misbehaving at the one in Arlington will be severely reprimanded.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fuck that guy for that. Completely disrespectful

11 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

And yes, tomb of the unknown soldier 👍

11 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

I think maybe a WWI memorial? I'm not sure...

11 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yes, first WW unknown soldier.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I don't have the source readily at hand, but I read he got arrested for doing that

11 months ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

Yea I was wondering because it did not seem to fit the theme of "idiots get their comeuppance"

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

And expelled if memory serves.

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Wow, that's fucking stupid.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#5 This is probably the best possible outcome for the situation.

Don't store anything that's going to increase in pressure in unvented glass, moron!

Glass is brittle and will shatter under pressure (see also: #1 )

11 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

I've never been able to get my head round why people don't open stuff like this outside. Ditto for the Mentos in Coke thing.

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Almost all craft beer/cider ever brewed increases in pressure after its bottled. You add extra sugar before bottling for the yeast to carbonate the beer in bottle.
The trick is not to OPEN the bottle after you've just shaken the damn thing.

#4 happened a month ago. Basically a bipolar person going through hard times who made an on the spot catastrophically stupid move,which...

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Wow, deported for lighting a cigarette on a public open flame. Fucking insanity.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

That's what happens when your minister of the interior has a devouring ambition and craves the votes coming from the far right...

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think #1 is really an idiot, lots of people do that without the glass shattering.

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

The idiotic thing is to even attempt it.

11 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Yup, that's some crappy glass.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1
