Yes, we would in fact allow Russia to veto a ceasefire in Ukraine. It's because they're on the Security Council, the small group of countries with ultimate veto power. The UN is already a joke, and it has been ever since 2014 when they didn't remove a literal terrorist organization from the Security Council after Russia attacked Crimea.

Israel will just stop any and all aid going though the check points to slowly starve them out, then march from one end of southern gaza to the other, slowly pushing them to egyptian border. There was never going to be more than lip service to the crimes that Israel is committing regardless of who won the election. The US could have done a lot to stop the violence but instead has continued to supply the weapons that are being used to bomb Gaza and other points in that area

Israel has a pitiful fighting force that was overwhelmed by Hamas on Oct. 7th, they can't fight Lebanon on the ground or anyone else for that matter. The only way they can keep invading all their neighbors is because of all the bombs and long-range ordinance, which is not eternal and extremely expensive (they were crying to the US about running out of bombs just a month after Oct. 7th). They can't realistically keep up any of their violence without US support. They risk getting taken over.

I also need to point out that both Biden and Kamala have not and will not push back on Israel. They have been their greatest allies, spreading misinformation their behalf (hoaxes like the "40 beheaded babies" or the "mass rape on Oct. 7th", for example), and lobbing Congress to give Israel as much as possible. You can't argue that they would "push back" when they've pushed in the other direction for over a year.
