I prefer Gain pods over Tide. I'm allergic to Tide.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I am constantly amazed by the willingness of generations raised with the idea that racism etc. is bad to segregate by "generation."

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

Everyone needs someone to blame for their problems. Taking responsibility for your own life and actions is not cool.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

When is generation Sun and Moon coming out?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They won't be fully evolved until about 2030/2040

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m getting sick of this. Can we just agree that anyone older than me is an out of touch fossil and anyone younger is an idealistic idiot?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

As a Gen X'er, I think Millennials are awesome. I know a bunch and they're all hard working and thoughtful. They catch way too much shit.

People told me as a kid my generation was gen x, I'm 31 and people say I'm a millenial. Either way; I don't care

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

You're millenial. Sorry bub. I'm Gen x. I'm 41.

As a 26 y/o millenial, you have to take him. 31's too old to be one of us.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are there really that man Gen Xers in Congress?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Yes. Paul Ryan, Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, I dont know why I can only think of Republicans. Oh there's Tammy Duckworth

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, etc

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gen X'ers right now include people in their mid 40's.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No. We barely make a dent in Congress. I remember when they tried to blame us for Iraq. But there were exactly 0 Xers when that passed

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Including ones on the Boomer/X cusp (and the few on the X/Y cusp), about half of the House is Gen X. About a third of the Senate is.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

No. Silent/Boomer/X/Millennial % for the Senate is 19%/61%/20%/0%; for the House it is 8.3%/60%/27.8%/2.9% (w/ 4 seats vacant)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not even close. 24 senators born since ‘61, so definitely GenX. Including cusp years up to ‘58, there are 32 senators.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For only 20 senators to be considered Gen X, you’d have to put the generation cutoff in the middle year 1962…

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That range is excessively wide for X. I used 63-79. X starts at around 63-65, depending on who you ask (60 if you want to be generous) 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats what i was going to ask. I'm genx and i dont know if we have any

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Huh - apparently, Gen X starts in 1961 so that would include a number of 50-something Reps and Senators.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Boomers are those born up to 1964, Gen X is 1965-1976

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wait, wait, what does that make '77?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A 41 tear old, which makes me feel really old!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wtfff. I don't feel comfortable being lumped in together with someone from the 60s

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How do you think it feels to be born in the early 80s and be compared with someone born 20 years later? generational titles are nonsense

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

According to Google. Gen X is 1965 - 1980.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

since the definitions of all generations is dumb as shit im both millenial and gen z, my point is we should not label ourselves like this

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Boomers didn't particularly liked Silents. Silents were the ones arresting/chastising them when boomers were hippies

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah...but the world is literally being ruined in a physical sense for once. That's pretty impressive for a generation to accomplish no?

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 6

haven't we been working at that since the industrial revolution? theres just many more of us now

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The problem is stereotyping, the problem isn't which group you stereotype.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But they're not at all. The term "generation" explicitly describes an age group. By definition. Nothing to do with behavior.

The point of describing an age group is to classify by similar experiences (growing up with both pre-digital and post-digital tech), so 1/

I hear ya. Born '82 and most things I have read still label me millennial. Brother and sister are '67 and '69 and heavily influenced me.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

83 and definitely x, btw X isn't really running Congress yet, they might be our only hope if work doesn't run them into the ground.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Yeah I'm 83 and I always thought I was X. We're very different to 90s kids.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Greetings, fellow Xennial/proto-Millennial/ohwhateverthefuckitdoesn'treallymatteranyway

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Born in 87'. Been told I'm Gen Y ALL my life. Then BuzzFeed said I'm a Millennial. I don't know what's going on anymore.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

So many generations, so little time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gen Y is what is was called before it got a proper name of Millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I didn't know that until last year. Also been called the Me generation and the sitcom generation...can we fucking pick one?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Gen Y IS Milennials.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Don’t let BuzzClickbait assume your generation.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The name was just changed is all. They're the same thing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wait, so where does '92 fit into all this? Millennial?

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

*Right* in the middle. Maximum millenial.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel proud of myself now...well, proud of my parents that they timed my conception right.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

but pretty much all standards yes

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Basically 80s and 90s babies

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yes. My condolences.

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

Could be worse

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No condolences needed, were not the ones eating tide pods and fuckin up congress

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Well this is a very troubling development

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Millennials (aka Gen Y). There is no precise dates but typically it's early 1980s till mid-1990s to early 2000s. Yay for me!

8 years ago | Likes 1127 Dislikes 36

People just call everyone they don't like millennials

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I was born in '82, but I don't feel like I am a millennial. I'm pretty staunch conservative and hate pop culture. I also don't own a romper.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Wrong. It ends in 99

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was told millennials need to have been old enough on 9/11 to understand the implications of what was going on.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was 6, but I'm 22 now and I still don't understand the implications of what was going on.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

For me it’s if you watched Wishbone and Krats Kreatures on PBS you are a millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I read somewhere that they think 9/11 was the moment that differentiates millienials and Gen Z

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And that gen z just see 9/11 as "part of history" as opposed to millennials who see 9/11 as a moment that changed a lot of things

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those born after 1985, but before 1996, are millennials. Or at least according to several documents in my town, they are.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As it relates to marketing, it’s 20-36 (many ref 18-34 but that trend started 2 years ago, and gen targets, by nature, can’t remain fixed)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

so are we called the Jennies?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We're better than everyone else because we had life without tech/internet and with it, all while still young and learning.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

My girl was born in 97' and she definitely a different generation than me. I can't even watch old movies with her cuz her eyes can't standem

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you probably should have added your own age to make that meaningful.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah. Late 80s.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would not include early 80s. My older siblings are for sure a different generation (I'm 91 and they are 81-86)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If you grew up with high speed internet and a cell phone, youre a millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

FUCKING TAKE THAT SHIT BACK... or else...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was more of a 84 & early 2000s thing. As that is largely when technology started moving so fast there was little time to adapt.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm '83 and they always called us Gen X. Frankly, I don't give a fuck, this country is a shithole... so I guess I am Gen X, ha!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

somewhere i read that "millennial©" starts from 83. so. you fking millennial. get a job.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Though if you were born in the 80s you can’t qualify as millennial. Growing up was WAY too different for us. They call us Xennials lol

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Early 80s maybe. I was born 88 and am solidly a millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yeah I was born in 85 and I do NOT feel I am millennial. I didn’t even have an actual cell phone till I was like 22 lol.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The whole point is experiencing both pre-digital and post-digital tech. You're confusing millenial for the gen born after the millenium.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A xennial is a 1977-1984 born. Just fyi.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2000 for me I think I was like he last year before it went all Jake Paul and tide pods

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can all of us '80-'86'ers please NOT be lumped in with the kids born in the 90's? Pretty please?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I’m from 1994. What does that make me?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Slap-bang in the middle of millenial.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Im a -81. Im definitly not a millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If you've used a floppy disk, then you're not a millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

I used floppy disks and I'm definitely a millennial :-D '88 baby here.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Generations are just a product of humanitys irrational need to put every thing into categories.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With all the "No set dates" to where the generation starts, I'm technically a millennial, and I'm technically Gen Z, I'm in the gray zone

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They have xillenials. 1975 to 1988 or so. Between Gen X and millennials

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You ripped this explanation straight out of Wikipedia. It’s generally agreed that it’s those born between 1981 to 1998. This is what large

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

census and research firms use. Cross into 2000 is the next generation.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Pew research and others agree it goes into the early 2000s

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, since I thought the term basically meant anyone who was born before '99-'00 and became an adult after.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Averaging what I saw on most sites it's more like 1976-1994

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

1990 forever

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it is very vague when one gen ends and another begins.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it’s up until 95 is millennial

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

Heeeeey! *finger guns*

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Generation Why?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It starts with 1982, the first graduating class of the new millennium.

I'm pretty sure computers existed in the 80's...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yea. commodore is great for surfing internet and using photoshop. actually i'm here in imgur with my trusty c64 right now.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Children who grew up with smartphones and computers are gen-z. I think this year is the first year gen-z is graduating high school.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A good generalization is that if you reached adulthood (18+) before about 2010. Then You are a millennial

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The one I’ve heard is of you remember 9/11 but not the Challenger explosion, then you’re a Millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Best way to think of Millennials, do you have crippling student loans and long for nostalgia of 90's cartoons? Congrats you're a Millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

I was born in the 70s and I have crippling student loan debt. My cartoon nostalgia is for Bugs Bunny, though.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

my parents are rich and I didn't have a tv growing up, witness me

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have 1/2 but I'm Gen Z. Do I count?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think very few post-'96 see the connection between a pencil and a compact casette or recognize the dialup sound. Also IE6, no tabs, FF2...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Often it's 15 years: 1950-65 boomers, 1965-80 GenX, 1980-95 GenY/Millennial, 1995 - 2010 GenZ (surely to be renamed later).

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

So what are you if you were born in 65 or 95?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A freak

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You win

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For the purpose of census taking Gen Y is defined as 1982 to 1998, though. Gen X was also almost 20 years instead of 15 IIRC

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah. the youngest millenials now are like... 24-25.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

millenials are currently beween 18 and 35 years old.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Although if you ask anyone, it seems to mysteriously only start AFTER their birthday. "No, I was born in 1983, Millenials are after that"

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Can't be, then i am a millennial, and i have a house, car and retirement plan!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So do I. Still a millennial though :) We came of age in the new Millennium.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I see it as this: if you were born when a land line was the main phone, but saw 9 year olds with a cell phone by the time you were 20.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

‘82, stressed, heartbroken, skint, hate my job, but YAY

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's no precise dates because social "generations" arent real. It's just nonsense people made up so we can look down on one another.

8 years ago | Likes 295 Dislikes 26

Agreed, segregation is the cause for societal failure.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Dead on..hate when this comes up in the office. Like Bitch idc what you ID with, your birth year will not change and your birth year/

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 3

Exactly like a 'fill in your social generation' would say.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

it's all about marketing, when researching demographics that are coming of age to have real spending power people want to know what they >

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

are doing with their money and how to get them to spend more of it, and about making broad sweeping generalizations about age groups

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

There are some vague cultural ties, people raised on similar fashion, TV, music, etc.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dude. Nothing is real

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha spot on

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, we can’t say “September 2nd, 97 ends Gen x, sept 3rd, 97 begins y” because how different can those two people be?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

On social media you can describe it like that. But it does make sense when describing development of trends and behaviors over time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To a massively limited degree. Beyond that you're just hurling sweeping generalizations based on some astrology-esque dartboard of years.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Obviously highly specific trends like tide pods it doesn't make sense to describe, because memes are random, but it does make sense to 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2/2 describe overall tends in behavior for 16 yos in 2000 and 16 yos in 2017.

Does not determine shit about you except age and maybe the ammount of nitrogen in yer blood

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Wait, explain the nitrogen thing?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its the opposite of daytrogen

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

As you get older and older, nitrogen builds up until you explode...maybe

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not about precise dates... it's about finding traits common to a higher percentage of one age group vs. others.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Obviously some Gen Z will act almost entirely like Baby Boomers and yell at people to get off their lawn. We are talking about macro trends.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You cannot talk about percentages like you're dealing with statistics when you just said your sample parameters are not precise.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One marketing company can say "if we define Gen X as 1965 to 1984, they have a 50% chance of being interested in Transformer merchandise."

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Another company can pick different dates, thus making start/end dates imprecise, but their statistics for the demographic are still accurate

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The generational groupings is a real thing. As an employer, the psychology associated with each group is real. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 15

Upvoted you, but I fear people who hate logic will downvote you again.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

They show similar expectations as their liked aged peers. It’s not about blame, it’s about understanding people and their behaviours 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 7

Those people have different psychology *because of how old they are*, not because of the arbitrary year range in which they were born.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Cultures change with time period. Very obviously, year range can have an impact on psychology.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No. It's not like people of the same age living in different decades think and behave the same.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"People born between 2008 and 2010 are culturally predisposed to be immature." - "Have you considered that's just because they're 10?"

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

It's more than that though, they are immature in very different ways than 10 year olds in the 1970's; and more mature in some aspects.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

That was funny! But I agree with Neptune. A 10-year-old in 1870s would think and act very differently.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes but you can’t ignore the cultural and social influence on individual psychology, and that varies by generation, not just age.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If age were the only influence, 70 year old people now would be ‘the same’ as 70 y/o people 50 years ago and that clearly isn’t the case

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How can you say that? That's absurd! Now I'll have to look down on you!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Spoken like a true Millenial. :D

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Millennials are anyone who started formal education in the 2000s, 95' onward with 2010 marking the beginning of Gen Z.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

84 here and I don't consider myself a millennial. I thought it was like 1990-2000's

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 7

84 too and TIL that I'm a millennial now I feel less old... (My back hurts tho)

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah the 80s are considered by a lot of people to be its own generation.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

I'm 99' but I personally think that I'm more of a gen Z then a millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 446 Dislikes 23

You're like the first person I've seen who chose to call themselves gen z. Cool

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are, I believe, technically Gen Z. Most research groups put Millenials at the latest born in 94-96.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm '95 but I'm definitely not a millennial. Millennials are retarded. Also, eating detergent and nofap gives you wizard powers.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You are, I believe, technically Gen Z. Most research groups put Millenials at the latest born in 94-64.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Technically Gen Z is 95 to 2012.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

technically there's no consensus and different orgs use different dates, so call yourself whatever you identify with more, within reason.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 97' and I don't know where the fuck I belong

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If someone is too young to remember the year 2000, then I don't think it makes sense to call them a "millennial".

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

And I'm 98 but feel like more of a millennial. Probably because I didn't get a smartphone until I was 18, and then I also grew up on VHS.

You’re a millennial. Sorry >_<

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

86?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think that's the earliest you could be one. Cause my parents are gen X and were in highschool when you were born

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No one wants to be labeled a millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 6

I'm okay with that, but maybe just because once a teacher that i admire call us millennials in a non-despective and really cute way

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly the only generation I'd rather be labeled is the Greatest Generation or the Silent Generation.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What are the different characteristics of the two? I was born around the same time (97'), but have no idea what I would be classified as.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you remember the turn of Technology from things like VHS, dvd, to Blu-ray? Did you have a smartphone at a young age? Those are some keys.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have boxes in the basement with all of my childhood movies on VHS that are now useless :( Still haven't replaced all of the disney movies

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Haha, 99'ers are milliennialz.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm 98 and definitely a millennial. And thanks to my country lacking behind the rest of the world a 90's kid as well.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

You have downvotes for some reason? Curious about which country you're talking about

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Millenials are born between 1980 and 1995 or 1996. 1999 is gen z

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Make your mind up. When is it.. you've lost 3 years there

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They aren't saying 99 is the start of gen z, just that it's part of it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Um glad to see someone can keep up

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Than*

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m ‘84 and I don’t know what I am because I don’t feel like a gen X or millennial.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I've heard us called the Oregon Trail generation. We exhibit traits of both GenX and Millenials.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

And that was a great game.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We’re called Xennials lol

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This then would include 86 I hope!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because you can't tell apart then and than?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm also 99 but I'm usually grouped as a millennial, so, you know

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I'm pretty sure, they're called millennials because they were born at the turn of the millennia. if anything, your more millennial than most

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

It's more about being conscious and growing up at the turn of the millennia. Just like being born in 1988 doesn't make you an 80s kid.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I'd agree here. I'm1984 and don't consider myself a millennial

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Millennials are 35 and under, but I feel ya, 1986 here and I certainly don't feel like a millennial!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dude we grew up with fucking pagers and 32 bit systems. I didn't get the internet until 6th grade. I didn't see what the internet was 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

1984 is right around the borderline, and the edges are fuzzy. I'm sure there are some Gen X'ers born in 1984 and Millennials born in 1980.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's like how I feel being born in 1996, I'm definitely not gen z, but I don't feel like a millennial either.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My s thing was the cinnamon challenge so not as bad but still pretty stupid

8 years ago | Likes 217 Dislikes 2

Pretty sure the milk gallon challenge was the early millennial stupid thing to do. Remember more than a few friends trying that one out

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but at least cinnamon is technically food.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

And people weren't dying of cinnamon unless extreme cases of suffocation. Tide pods are poison and have killed.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Dude the cinnamon challenged has been around for a long time. It's not exclusive to any generation.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

so what you're saying is you're actually Gen y.5 where the stupidity was evolving to the next level Gen z?

8 years ago | Likes 147 Dislikes 2

Gen-Z: This isn't even my final form yet!

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yeah but we don't have the college debt of gen Y (yet).

ALSO, IIRC, i believe the cinnamon challenge did end up killing a couple people too due to excessive coughs and not being able to breath
