+1, but for Zeus' sake include a pic with the stringy crust cheese being pulled away from the pie next time.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Excuse you. Where is the picture of the cheesey crust goodness being slowly pulled apart???

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The "parmesan" upset me

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'mma let you finish but DID YOU NOT BRUSH MELTED BUTTER OVER THE CRUST BEFORE APPLYING YOUR DELICIOUS PARMESAN AND GARLIC SEASONING?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And that parmesan and garlic was mostly synthetic out of a fucking bottle.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now eat that maaffff

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can confirm most chain pizza places use string cheese for stuffed crust. Source: worked for pizza hut & papa johns before real job.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is that how they make it so tasteless?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not sure on taste, but if chain pizza is the only option atleast pick papa. I can confirm they actually use fresh ingredients.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

as a Wisconsinite, I weep for your cheese options/choices

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hello Dad, I want a pizza.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wanna get married OP?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Why do you stab it with a fork?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Docking dough (pizzas, pie shells) is to keep the it from bubbling during cooking.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Pizza sauce: Pizzeria style" What the fuck is that even supposed to mean?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Onions... Bleh

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I make pizzas for a living. I find its really good to make a light layer of cheese after the sauce then toppings then top again w/cheese

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Omg. The idea of processed tomato sauce with processed cheese and an industry blend of parmesan makes me sick.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Noice. Well done with the multiple cheese layers, too.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Clean your oven OP

10 years ago | Likes 225 Dislikes 2

Once I can make pizza at 7am I feel like my life will be complete

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I ain't saying you're lying..but do you actually have pizza ingredients in the house? Usually I buy pizza stuff knowing I am making it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I ALWAYS have pre made pizza crusts at home. You never know when the pizza mood will strike

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 11

Sunny, 50 degrees, and cheesy

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Op recommended 450 degrees. You're going to be late to work waiting for that pizza to be done

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I like you

:)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I don't want to upvote because you called it a "Za".

My nickname is Joey ZaZa

I see Delallo's sauce. I'm assuming Western PA? Or am I far off with that guess

Colorado

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

People who say "Za" need to be hit with a bat so hard they stumble into the street and get run over by a bus. While they lay there in pain 1

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

2/ waiting for the sweet release of death, a pack of wild dogs runs up and rapes them over and over until some homeless man comes over and

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

3/ pisses all over them. As they lay there covered in piss and dog jizz someone comes over and shoots them in the face.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I also dislike za.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So absolutely nothing that isn't prepackaged?

10 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 19

Bunch of little bitches up in this comment section...Ohhh it's not hand made cheese, you didn't grow the onion, you didn't make sauce..stfu

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Honestly I was gonna say something. Pre packaged onions? When you do this the terrorists win.

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 14

That was a yogurt container from Trader Joe's I don't believe they were prepackaged, most likely just stored in that after cutting.

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Yeah the container was acting as a prep bowl.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is what cooking your own food is these days haha

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

go age a fuckin cheese if you have the time man. That said, cutting a fresh onion takes like 20 sec.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

Mozzarella is not aged

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree that cutting onions is better and the pain and tears are worth it, but it absolutely takes way more than 20 seconds for me.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tuck your fingers in, make sure your knife is very sharp. A blunt knife is more dangerous than a sharp one.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's less about cutting technique and more about me pausing every so often because I literally can't see. I have a pretty nice knife set. :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

maybe I have special eyes, or maybe it's because I've been cooking since I was a kid but onions honestly don't make my eyes hurt at all 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't see how the comment about cutting onions applies here, unless your store sells diced onion in old yogurt containers.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's not realistic for everyone to make their own mozz. But if you have the time, making pizza sauce isn't too hard. No excuse for the onion

10 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 6

I bought a cheese making kit for precisely that reason. Finding milk that's fresh enough isn't easy, though. My mother in law (1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Not so much the freshness, but the pasteurization that's the problem. Look for full fat, Low Temperature Pasteurized Milk.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He just put the onion in that container. It says something about milk on it (I think it's a yoghurt tub).

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

gets raw milk from a cow they own a share of, and I want to take their gallon so badly... (2/2)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That sounds entirely not worth it enough. Is the taste really that much better

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It totally is, I grew up on a farm. But still, making cheese is way too much work/time/money for most people.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The supplies to make it are pretty cheap, actually. It doesn't take too long to make either, and it's the best mozz I've ever had.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. But careful if it is raw, you are not exposed to the same bacteria as a cow and farmer. I grew up on a dairy, now I don't drink milk.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Making mozz takes 30 minutes and is really easy! Sauce: own a wine & cheese instruction/supply shop. Mozz is our most popular class!

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

30 minutes? That's a long time to spend on a single ingredient for pizza. But I'm not a good snob. The pre made shit is fine for me...

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Fresh mozz is not just for pizza. Salads, cheesy bread, with cured meats and peppers, or just noshing. Simplest thing to make.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

30 minutes gets you a pound and a half of mozzarella lol. And it lasts 7-10 days, so you could use it for multiple things. :)

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You can't trust anything someone has to say when they call mozzarella cheese "mozz".

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, atleast it makes them easy to spot. Like people who call a cabernet sauvignon 'cab sav'.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh man. I do that

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When you're working with a limited number of characters, you go with the flow.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can't trust what you just said.
