Here's the image of Phobos from Mars.
Pretty cool, right? Well, some Flat Earth believers are convinced that this photo is fake and here is their proof:
Here's the image after hitting "Auto Levels" in Adobe Lightroom.
According to some, it means that the photo is fake and that NASA are a bunch of dirty, dirty liars.
So, I took the photo into Lightroom and used a graduated filter...
Here's the picture with a blue sky.
And a bluer sky.
And a yellow sky.
And a green sky.
And a pink sky!
Digital photo editing programs are very good at what they do. They are so good that they can make the Mars sky and land easier to see with just one click! Amazing!
However, Lightroom being really good at manipulating images doesn't mean that the original photo is fake or that NASA are dirty liars or that the Earth is flat. It just means that Lightroom is a pretty cool little program.
