They're always ruining an otherwise good day.

I call bullshit. My dad fell and broke a hip, wrist and got a concussion. It didn't take him nearly four weeks before he would talk to people.

My point is that we're all weeping about the terrible news about our sweet Lindsay/s. Then this distraction popped up

I'm still holding out for a trifecta.

If true, he should try falling down some stairs next time.

The picture on CNN looks fake as hell

To a close approximation, every single person in the US has a cellphone that can take video. Proof-of-life is trivial to provide - that fact that they have not is telling. Where there is smoke there's fire, and Mitch doesn't drop off the face if the earth for 3 weeks with no reason better than a "oops I slipped" statement.

Maybe next time

Now we know why his wife flew to China, it was to pick up replacement organs harvested from political prisoners. :O

If he's actually dead and this statement was false, it should be criminal. He's actively holding a slot that needs to be filled. If it comes out in the future that he was dead before this statement, every single person related to making it should be charged with fraud and intent to commit criminal conspiracy.

A fall can absolutely lead to a catastrophic head injury and brain death. Lost a family member that way.

Impersonating a government official is criminal.

Did he himself say it, or was it a spokesperson?

AI video that didnt air live anywhere and he looks better than before the fall and his wife who's in China teleported in for the photo and hes super conveniently holding todays newspaper. They're so used to dipshits swallowing the lies that they put in zero effort.

And not just a phone call as we know AI can fake that. Let reporters into his hospital room.

It was a statement. So a press release written by his staff.

I'm gonna wait for some real proof of life.

Mitch said it, but the spokesperson's lips were moving and no one could see his right hand.

Link to source? I want to know HOW he revealed that.

The word I want to hear is "posthumously."

"The statement included a smiling picture of the senator with his wife Elaine Chao, a tacit response to speculation online that McConnell had died or was incapacitated" From the article. I hope he held up a newspaper with the current date on it. https://apnews.com/article/mitch-mcconnell-hospitalized-fall-health-senate-d708e9a1f18763fbb961fd3879227ce3

I hate how we have to check photos.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

"AI checkers" are just as much hogwash at AI. They guess, and are regularly wrong.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or are outdated almost immediately. There really isn't a good solution

Isn’t she visiting her handle…. China currently. When was this picture taken. ?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

She was 2 days after his hospitalization. Might be back already. But no reliable way to know when the picture was taken.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

He hasn't looked that alive in decades, obviously AI.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*cue thousands of people checking photo for signs of AI generation*

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

A comment down lol, AI said its fake and mist likely AI generated.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It said 54%.

That as close to "lol I dunno" as an AI gets.

The reality is you cannot reliably tell if a given image is AI. Some are easily identified, and some are not.
