What's drives people to do this? Why a pink panther? I wish I understood Street Art a little more. I get political Street Art but not the random pictures. Can anyone explain?

JET SET, JET SET, JET SET RADIOOOOOOO!!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't expecting a wild dickbutt to appear, though.

That amount of control is a thing of beauty to watch.

Was your code 'panther' by any chance?

This is not an officially licensed use of the Pink Panther(tm). Copyright MCM

This is an original Spanksy

Props for using Montana cans. Good colours, cheap price, weather resistant.

Step 2, draw the rest of the fucking owl.

I always like watching how nice and smooth and round the sprays are in these sorts of videos.

Every spray paint job I’ve ever attempted (not murals, household items) I get a much wider, splattering spray. I guess practice makes perfect?

I believe they use special nozzles

Figures. I never hear about anything.

I wish I had Patron of the Arts money. I'd get murals all over my fences and walls.

That's not graffiti, that's street art.

As someone who has dabbled in virtually every medium, graffiti artists have my ultimate respect. I can’t even spray a switch plate cover a single color without problems.

The can control is excellent

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The artist definitely can control it.

I understood that reference

Yes. And that wig makes him look a lot like one of the beatles.

Pink panther theme was playing in my head the whole time, would have been a decent music overlay

if the owner of this wall is ok with it, then it's nice. if not, then fuck this guy

I've seen this guy's stuff a lot (online that is), including him (/her, I dunno) doing things on the front of a building on a public street, so very likely these are done with permission.

If the graffiti was shit then yes fuck him, but it looks good so if he did it on my building I wouldn’t even be mad. Even if it was without permission. You need to chill.

lets spray your house, your car and and of course your bedsheets next - without your permission of course - because it looks nice.

Yeah I don't get these people. Saw them show up on a few other graffiti posts. The problem with graffiti is it's very subjective. Some may like to look at it and some may not. That's why it's illegal in some places even with owner permission. These people act like they'd be fine with it even without permission but wait until they get the fines for having it and having to also pay to have it fixed..

None of us are involved in this. We are not the artist, we are not the building owner, we are not the cops. Getting mad at us for forming opinions over graffiti that's likely long since gone is a massive waste of your emotional energy and makes you look incredibly silly. Direct your ire where it matters if it bothers you this much, go to town hall meetings where you can push for designated graffiti areas, be productive with your irritation rather than wasting it on "these people".

That's not equivalent and you know it. You are arguing in bad faith and as such will get no serious discussion. It does look nice though.

We can try apologizing for whomever hurt you, if you think it would help?

9 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

What's "shit" graffiti and what isn't? Answer objectively not subjectively.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Random tags in my opinion.
If the grafitti artist is making art then im more okay with it but if its just hood tags made by smol crimnal babies trying to act cool then gtfo.

I enjoy grafitti in public spaces as long as its art.
Like on the fence put up around a building area.
Or at the train tracks on those walls we have around the place. I love walking past and see the new art people make, or art made over the ugly tags :)

"in my opinion". You failed to answer objectively. Which is the point. You're talking about what you like. What about what the others around you like or dislike? What if someone found exactly what you hate and made a massive tag on your building? What if a neighbor did it lawfully? You obviously can't think beyond your own pov.
