If he hadn't taken the time to make this joke, the kid wouldn't have been electrocuted

I completely forgot that part omg...I need to go back and watch it again.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s not a “dad joke”. He’s not a dad. It’s just a joke.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sam Neill was 44 in Jurassic Park. I always thought he was, at most, like 30. He’s 72 now and only just looks 50. Madness.

Fuck you @lassannn

Just watched this today and this a dad move all the way with the wife yelling at him in the background.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think I saw this movie in theatres around 7-8 times

"That's not funny----That was great"

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I can hear this gif

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And he’s not a dad in the movie. Could you image what he would lay down if he were?

Event Horizon sequel?

Wish you had made the op. Awesome quality as well.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fairly sure that is higher quality than the movie.. somehow

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Ah 60p my old enemy. What are you doing outside a video game or soap opera?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is that why soap operas look that way? I always wondered why they looked different. Like filming a play.

Finally some "Dad" humor that my Dad would actually do lol

You have no idea what I've seen /a/cPZ0FOK

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That movie was creepy as fuck

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Correct

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did that to mom once, while I was plugging in a power extension cord. She didn't react well and I'm not proud of it.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, maniacal laughter is probably a red flag.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It still bugs me that he did it wrong. You're supposed to touch with the back of your hand so any muscle contraction jerks your hand away.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She's a hacker!

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Exactly. A nerd

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If they’re gonna keep making JP movies, we need an adult Lex to come back as the hacker to stop it all. I’d watch that.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She's a fine artist now. I'd love to see that too though.

?don’t whizz on the electric fence! ?

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Now there’s a reference I can respect. You fat bloated idiot Stimpy....

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Still kinda dick move to pull on those kids, tbh

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

The boy thought it was funny

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And I laugh at holocaust jokes, doesn’t mean they’re not shitty

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sometimes humor shines a flash of bright feelings on dark subjects, and gives us relief from what creeps in the corners of our minds.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Alright edgelord, I’m too tired to parse that and come up with a clever comeback

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am simply humbled and honored by your response, thank you.

Just watched this again last night. Aged so well. Still a great movie!

He deserved it

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Real question: any good for 7 year olds?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have this amazing concept for a series based on the books

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We’ll call it Dinosaur Sanctuary. They’ve reserved no monetary frivolity.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"book" - we don't talk about the sequel...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I honestly think it was a lazy rip off of We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 20

“We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story” was released five months *after* Jurassic Park, meaning it was the lazy rip off.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Funny enough, Steven Spielburg also worked on that film.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You should try the book. It has aged just as well if not better

6 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

"And now, an entire god damn chapter of Ian Malcom saying 'I told you so'. Again."

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

The only times a book is not superior to the movie is when it's a novelization. Jurrasic Park is a magnificent title.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The novelisation of Alien shines a light on some things that are very confusing in the movie, especially near the ending. I liked it better

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just a counter example, but I think overall you're right

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I strongly believe that the use of puppets over animated special effects allows this movie to be as timeless as it really is.

6 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

The VFX were top notch, but it seems unfair to compare early digital effects with well established animatronics.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

50% of it was CGI, rainy night is the reason the CGI aged well, and also the mix with practicle effects, which a lot less than you think.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

The film used both practical effects and CGI animation. Stan Winston and ILM did a great job.

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Paul Tippet really fucked up tho

Loved him in that space Sci-Fi horror. Can't remember the title at the moment, though...

Yes! Classic.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I watched this after many people here saying how great it was, but I didn't find it any good :<

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Taste differs, luckily!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well said

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

AKA the best movie ever.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

also known as the unofficial warhammer prequel

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

It's all fun and games until the void shield fails.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's the second time I've seen that mentioned is there any thi g that can substantiate this or is it just wishful thinking?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What happened to the crew of the Event Horizon is very close to the description of what happens in WH40K when a warp shield fails.
