'"If I see you here next month, I will shoot you and burn your house."

This happened right outside Portland, OR, one of the most liberal cities in the US. The media is calling it a "BIAS CRIME". I have no idea what that is, but I can identify a HATE crime when I see it.

This saddens me. I wish this man could find a place with good neighbors and feel safe....here in America. I don't really blame him for wanting to leave, as the political climate has really changed a lot in the last few months. I do hope that if/when he settles down in either Canada or Australia, he finds that the grass really is greener.

I see a lot of folks are pointing out that he could have done this himself, or that it was faked some other way. I’d like to give the victim the benefit of the doubt. If for some reason it was faked, it will be discovered and I’ll try to keep y’all updated. In the meantime, be good to your neighbors and be a healthy influence to the children in your life. This kind of hate/terrorism is learned.
