One of my friends thinks that the moon landing was fakes... Tbf, turns out he voted yes for Brexit, so I feel like that explains a lot. There absolutely has to be other life, which means other intelligent life is a certainty. Everything is too big, even for morons that believe in creation.

For more context, that's almost twice the distance from Earth to the Sun. (1 AU is defined as the average distance from Earth to the Sun) When 3I/ATLAS dips within the orbit of Mars, Earth will be almost as far as it can be, on the other side of the sun. It appears that the closest approach will be after that. Wikipedia actually has a neat graphic on the page from Catalina Sky Survey.
