This is my rock. It means more than anything (other than living) in the world to me. Here’s why...
I know it’s stupid because it’s just a rock but it represents my whole life. I’m a single mom and kind of gave up everything when I had my son. Literally everything. My whole life. I almost lost him to health issues multiple times and when he was about two years old I told him that it was my birthday while we were out hiking at our favorite beach spot called Crystal Cove. And he bent down and search for a solid 5-10 mins looking for something on the ground. He finally picked something up and gave me this rock. He muttered out a broken “Happy Birthday” which was kind of a big deal because he had speech issues growing up. It was the first present he ever gave me and one of the last I’ve received in general for my birthday. I have kept it safe for the last 7 years.

I took a shot and messaged @crihle
After a bit of chatting I took a chance and mailed my most special Little Rock to him to have him make it into a pendant that I can take with me everyday. This is what came to me a few days ago.
I literally burst into tears when I saw it. It’s amazing
