I thought horcruxes weren't so much "disenchanted" as "violently damaged/destroyed"?

This is a much better title than the last time I saw this

The clinic I worked in used them to clean surgical tools. It vibrates like crazy so it always made me shudder when I touched it.

I thought they were deep frying jewellery. I thought "okay, I'll try ONE"

I guess Dumbledore forgot to take the ring off before dunking it into the blue potion of soul destruction.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Does the person that wears that live in a coal mine?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I like how the horcrux shudders in pain

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

The enchantment is dirt and flesh

Now I ain't saying that's demonic possession, but I got two Winchester boys here wondering what your address is.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

After seeing this earlier I have one on my wish list. Just because

Forbidden Gatorade

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Used to do something similar as an after school job. Loved it. There's nothing like cleaning jewelry with chemicals and seeing it brand new

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do it again!!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wow

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where was this thing stored before the cleaning? Up Christopher Walken's ass?

Where can I obtain this magic liquid

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That will be $350 please

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Worth it.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not really. You can buy a small ultrasonic cleaner for $30 and do it yourself in 5 minutes.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Was it? You can buy these cleaners for less. I have one (a bigger one than the one in video).

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wanna bet that the owner was a smoker?

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 3

Reminded me of this old Tarn-X commercial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYohmJj3uqQ

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That stuff is awesome. It stinks to high hell, but works great.

Being in the jewelry business, I can't tell you how many times I have done that and taking the ring out with 20 stones that have fallen out

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

:( Does that mean they were badly set or just that the metal was soft and the setting clamps (no idea how this is called correctly) bent?

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

A lot of those type of rings are set in India, where they're paying the center maybe 10 cents of stone. So they're usually just set poorly.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I see. Poor Indian craftspeople. :(

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know it's being cleaned using ultrasound but is that just plain old water?

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Soapy ammonia and water

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mine came with a special solution similar to windex

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I use water and some ammonia

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't know if jewelers specifically add stuff to the bath, but they're usually just water.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

My dad was a jeweler. There was a disc he dropped in the water that looked like dry dish detergent

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They do, it's a solution designed to curb microbial growth in the bath between uses.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

WTF is all that crap coming off it?

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

The spirit of someone's mother-in-law.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dirt & skin flakes. Yeah, yuk

6 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Lots of soap residue from washing your hands as well. Brother is a jeweler, I never thought that profession would have such horror stories.

We bought an ultrasonic tank for our band instruments, watching instruments the first time they get cleaned is mesmerizing and disturbing

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Id like to know if its big enough for the tubas

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wonder if they blow bubbles in the bath.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep, big enough for 1 tuba. Getting the water out of said tuba is quite a chore even with the valves and slides out. #banddirectorthings

My husband works on vintage watches and the amount of wrist cheese I’ve seen come off in an ultrasonic is amazing.

6 years ago | Likes 415 Dislikes 3

That stuff that collects on light switches, door knobs, and kitchen cabinets, I call it "hand cheese". ?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Same with eyeglasses!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The removable sweat bands from safety glasses are the worst ??

Grandma grease

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Can I unlearn what I just read? Wrist cheese ? Ewwww

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I always wondered if ultrasonic cleaners were safe for mechanical watches

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yup! You have to take them completely apart and then let them dry. You can’t just plop a movement into a cleaner.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I more so meant the watch as a whole. I have 0 interest in disassembling a movement lol.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That's just what you have to do, otherwise you can't dry it well enough. Water + watch movements = disaster. I've seen it many times.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Your husband is a very cool guy

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Damn, must worse when he does cockring watches.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Um... wat ? Barf..... LoL

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I knew items like these accumulated some crud over their lifetime, but hear it described as wrist cheese.... I was not prepared.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't get past that term now. "Wristcheese!" Ewe!

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I want videos from your husband!.... Don't take that the wrong way.

I'm trying to find one that shows a cleaning process. Is there any? If not, ask him kindly to record one for our satisfaction.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

wrist cheese - there's a phrase I didn't want to learn.

6 years ago | Likes 299 Dislikes 1

Then get this: NOSE CHEESE!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One time I saw one that had some guy's arm hair stuck in it along with the wrist cheese.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Eww indeed. Not a phrase though.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think last time this video was posted the phrase “grandma gunk” was employed

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My old calculator watch I had in grade four had some stiff competition with my nail Nutella ! I used to smell it like a lucky charm

Ultrasonic cleaning

6 years ago | Likes 726 Dislikes 5

Could be subsonic

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, this is electrochemical cleaning. Ultrasonic just significantly speeds up the process here.

6 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

The tweezers here appear to be insulated, and diamonds are not as conductive as one would hope to release that much grime that quickly.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't you mean Ultrasonicus Cleanicus?

Does anyone know what type of cleaning agent was used?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nah he shook it a little

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhjuiOwE1Cw Ultrasonic, you say?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey, call it what you will, but that's some filthy dark magic happening there.

6 years ago | Likes 186 Dislikes 1

Dont stick your into it. Unless you are the flash.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It actually won't do anything to soft/compressible tissue though.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You can even see at the end when the last piece of the soul leaves the horcrux, it spasms

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Filthy dark magic would be my stripper name if I ever stopped eating ice cream and doritos

6 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

That’s what burlesque is for, darling. They don’t judge.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why do you have to stop eating ice cream and doritos? I've seen some big strippers.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Portland even has a strip club that prides itself on having bigger strippers

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They use a ship's mast instead of a pole due to structural restraints
