There’s a LOT in that cabinet meeting that was both said in seriousness and also horrifyingly sycophantic. Getting hung up on the bad joke to the exclusion of that is missing the forest for the tree.

The categories are defined by estimated amount of destruction. Cat 5 = “total” and you can’t really have a category beyond that.

I HATE Trump and this administration with every inch of my body, but if you listen to the entire clip, it's pretty easy to detect that it was a sarcastic comment. Everyone is laughing about it. We don't need to sink to their level and try to make this a "thing" - there are SEVERAL major issues to rip them on - this is simply not one of them.

This is just evidence that they suck up to him. This type of thing happens on both sides (although may happen more with Trump because he's a narcissist). I still believe the comment about him preventing hurricanes was meant to be a joke and it's silly to call it out as anything more (makes Liberals looks dumb to be honest).
