#6 I’m so happy about this. Lot of stuff I’m glad isn’t on the net AND nothing to ruin my nostalgia by seeing how it really was.

#14 The person doing the same, wondering why the hell you're still looking at toilet paper

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#43 Pfft. More like *Klaxon sounds "Lock down!" "Critical failure!" "Red alert!" "Launch escape pods!" "Evacuate the planet!". :/

#7 Someone hacked our Netflix account once and made a new random profile and deleted mine. We had like four profiles. That fucking idiot 1-

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

could have just chosen one and watched for free and we might not have noticed. Deleting my profile was just stupid. 2-2

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#4 yeah, my leave isn't a request, it's a notification.

Thank Christobal there weren’t any cellphone cameras ?

3 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

The 70s. Fuzzy memories. A few Polaroids.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have a few scandalous pictures from my college years but I also have all the negatives.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But I’d the base from target or not?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#33 this is why you hear in old TV/movies “I’m screening my calls RN”

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#35 Thats basicly just every city with a subway

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#22 honestly it probably works better that way.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#46 which one's which?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 Britney?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#14 ... ironically, it's what both them are doing....

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#11 cassette tapes

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#49 Yep. favorite color: green, favorite food: hamburger, favorite season: fall, favorite musician Meatloaf. Just answers, no truth.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And now those BS favorites have become security answers.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i for one never use truth for my security answers either. in fact my answers don't even relate to the question.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#17 currently 9:03 and I'm getting in bed. Don't attack me.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#33 Yeah but you could also take your phone off the hook so nobody can call you.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every now and then a meme like #2 comes around and surprises me at how well it captures a faint memory.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Breaking news: Local sarcasm reserves hit critical levels. Experts recommend immediate deployment of witty retorts and deadpan delivery to prevent widespread eye-rolling.

Hey, I was gone from Imgur for about a week and now that I’m back I can’t click on individual images to zoom or swipe horizontally through a post. Am I missing something? I have to screenshot or download images in order to zoom in.

#10 The costco I work at does this. For this exact reason.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#4 got our lingo backwards. It's a notice of absence, a courtesy. Landscaping company doesn't "request" that they can't mow next week (1/2)

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They inform you. Work is recurring/perpetual business transaction trading life for pennies. Sorry boss, I'm not for sale that day

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#47 you posted a dumping room in your dump.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Something about GMAIL and texts with dog...

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#13 could be a dark das joke, we can hope..

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

…okay. I’ll bite. What’s going on in the tomato industry?

3 years ago | Likes 148 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

If you want to keep eating ketchup, don't look up the actual quality of tomatoes they use

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well they're obviously not going to turn all the nice, pretty ones into paste. Think of it like "baby" carrots. They're just the ugly ones

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

people wouldn't buy trimmed down to be pretty. Ketchup is the same. Take those ugly, slightly bruised tomatoes that won't sell and mash em.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Imagine the same with every industry. Shortage and record profits?

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

As opposed to lettuce, which are so cheap, they only cost 2 hours of my salary (each)

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Will you bite though??

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I do actually bite.

Brexit has resulted in massive fruit and veg shortages at supermarkets, who are now rationing produce as a result. The Tories as a result 1/

3 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

told people to eat Turnips, which now are also out of stock. 2/2

3 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Let them eat kale.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why is it happening now though? Brexit was a while ago

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's not. It's due to fuel costs stopping local farmers growing in greenhouses and poor crop else where.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Also not really much of an issue. Supermarkets don't have fresh but everywhere else does near me.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Which is especially remarkable because no one has ever really wanted to eat a turnip.

3 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

Yeah, turnips are what my food eats

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mashed neeps and tatties are ducking dope though

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It feels like I've been on this planet for 87 years now and every year the UK still surprises me with a dish that sounds made up for kicks.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Tomatoes are limited and expensive as Fuck in Jolly Old England ???????

3 years ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 1

Are they? Ketchup still seems to be the same price.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah for Brexit!

3 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

What are you talking about? It's all this weather, the BBC and government said so...

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They aren't that expensive..? You can get a packet the baby or plumb for £0.60-£1.00 it's gone up but it's not break the bank money

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Oh good, another shortage.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've been wondering the same thing for several days now.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is England going to do to England what England did to Ireland and India?

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The tories are going to do to Britain what their ancestors did to everywhere else, yes.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Are they? I've had no problems and the shop is full of them.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Tomato flu? I know bird flu is fucking up chickens in South Africa. Can’t buy eggs. Rip.

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

It might be Brexit?

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Okay, that makes sense. Eggs have gone up here in the US, but not tomatoes. Sorry about the tomatoes, British friends.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone peddling Brexit should be tried for treason.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Sanctions on Russia wound up effecting a bunch of Tories... They took money from a state that's hostile to the country then fucked it over.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What? It's literally the easiest plant to grow

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

It's winter.. and we're in England

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I was confused I'm sorry friend

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Peak capitalism and conservative politics are great at fucking up the simplest of things and then blaming other people

3 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I grow my own in the UK and get more than I can eat April - oct so guess I'm good!!!

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

During the winter it takes some precautions though. Like sun and warmth which the British have plenty

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Tropical people would say the same about pineapple

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Wanna trade for some eggs? I know a guy

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I know 30 hens in my garden :D

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tomato seeds for eggs?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll take it!

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We do that in NYC too. I expect everyone that has a train commute does this.

3 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

I don't Do this cause most exits here are in the back, so Free seats are in the front of the train.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah it depends on the system. When I ride NJTransit rail to Hoboken Terminal, there's only one platform exit, at the front of the train.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't understand can you explain? Someone who has never even seen a subway except the shitty sandwich place

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I felt that I had to diagram it. It would be hard to convey 140 chars at a time. Does this make it clear?

3 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Awesome and much appreciated!

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Glad to help! I hope you get to visit NYC someday.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is the type of response that society was formed for :)

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

One thing of note: NYC subway trains are made of 8 to 11 cars. Each one is 51 ft to 74 ft long.

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Wow. It's so kind of you to take the time to share this stuff. I'm glad I expanded this thread. :)

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Cheers, dude

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is incredibly wholesome.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

On some transit systems, they even have labels on the floor to say which carriage you should get on for common destinations.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This made my day. That you took the time to do this, to answer them

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cheers, dude

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someday I'll live somewhere that isn't a blighted transitless shithole. That future me thanks you for this knowledge from the ancestors.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Glad to help!
