If you ever visit Saint-Denis, Reunion, make a stop at the public park "Jardin de l'état". The same kind of bird is frequently fishing there in the ponds, making for amazing photos and videos.

American Alligators and Mugger Crocodiles actually do something like this TO those birds, to herons & ibises, by placing nesting material on their heads while floating, during nesting season. When the birds come down to get the nesting material they get grabbed.
