There is no fuckin' way actual healthcare could not be provided for less cost that a current system which covers the marketing, executive salaries, shareholder returns, ego-office buildings, naming rights contracts, direct cost sales, additional HR costs, additional administrative costs at healthcare providers, middlemen, etc. associated with the private healthcare insurance racket. None. Concrete example... BCBS runs my mom's healthcare using only 1/

the funds provided through her Medicare benefits, but includes more covered aspects than just straight Medicare provides. Those funds WILL cover her completely, but the healthcare lobby has garnered restraints on what Medicare is ALLOWED to cover through their lobbying efforts in Congress (bribes). And if it will do that even COVERING all the BCBS bullshit, then there's PLENTY of room for savings on actual healthcare.

I work in the pharma industry and "providers" generally means actual medical professionals like MDs, DOs, NPs, RNs, etc. It is the insurance companies, not providers, that are absolutely ratfucking everyone. That, and private equity gobbling up hospitals and specialty private practices.
