The Ukrainians in Crimea deserve liberation. The Russians however… boo f**kin hoo!

Without the explanation I thought this was about some asshole not giving way to an emergency vehicle

So, i think the point is that some gas stations have fuel but are only providing it to people who are connected to Putin in some way... this is to distinguish a place that has no fuel at all.

For a moment there i thought that's in San Marino during holiday season....

I saw the Woof!

Weirdly enough, I could tell it wasn’t America because they left all the entrances and exits open even in the long queue of cars

I love this for them!

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Remember when people were laughing at Just Stop Oil protestors? Now they're crying because they can't find/afford to fill up their cars.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

From "two weeks to Kyiv" to "two days to the gas station".

1 week ago | Likes 209 Dislikes 2

Boy do the Russian propagandists on Facebook hate when you make these jokes. I'd say they are all just AI but some of them get angry enough that I think there's at least a few real humans responding. It's the last remaining joy on that hellhole of a platform. That and angering christofascist Trump supporters, that's also a lot of fun.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think Putin said "three days" , now we know what he meant.

1 week ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

This sparks joy.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the "fun" thing is that ukraine is not bombin kerch bridge to let anyone who want to leave crimea.

1 week ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 2

Yup, straight from Madyar's mouth...

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Correct, as long as they aren't driving a truck towards Crimea, they are safe to leave... Ukraine has stated that they will not attack the bridge while passenger cars are on it (unless obviously military used).

1 week ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

I didn't know there were such big mountains in Crimea

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

my heart bleeds

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not sure which YouTuber I was watching, but they said these folks are like vacationing in Crimea still.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like a line to get on a ferry. But that guy is still driving dangerously fast.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

The camera has very good motion stabilization so it's less obvious that it has been sped up

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i'm guessing the vid is sped up

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah it took me way too long to figure that out lol. Only when I saw the cars jump off the red light. Til then I was like oh God the dog

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You can speed videos up! It's a great way to show things like this in a shorter time span! The future is now!

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It didn't look sped up to me.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought he was driving in the center line of a traffic jam and was going to get nailed by the cops. Have to watch it twice now that I know it's legit.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What about bikes ?

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What the fuck do they have to complain about? Should be more than enough to know they're Russian again, eh?

Unless you have an electric car, or live in a modern city with public transport, like in EU or Asia.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Not all public transport in the EU and Asia is electric. Not to mention, oil affects more than just transportation. Without fuel, the global food supply would collapse in weeks.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As chemist I have to say oil is much too valuable to burn anyway. It gives us access to a plethora of chemical raw materials for chemical industrial production that would otherwise be much more expensive to obtain.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"more expensive to obtain" : my dear chemist friend, you just assessed that it is possible to obtain them WITHOUT OIL ??? Did i understand correctly ?
Let's get into crazy thinking, because oil on Earth is not unlimited, and it peaked already : imagine that...
1/ the wealth is shared correctly among humans so the costs are not a problem anymore for the Masses.
2/ even is some stuff is more expensive, it can be produced without oil (cellulosis can replace some plastics as well... )

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Of course you can access the contents of oil without oil, oil is just a mixture of organic compounds, and to make them from abundant natural materials using organic synthesis, chemists learn how to do it. It just takes extra steps, which cost energy, which in turn costs money. That's all there is to it. I'm well aware that the earth is overextended in terms of resource use, but that doesn't mean organic synthesis stopped working.

5 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you. People just think oil make car go vroom. Driving electric doesn't exempt them from the litany of consequences.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Okay, I have to admit I'm not sure what that has to do with my statement that we should use oil as feed stock for chemical synthesis instead of just burning it?

5 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just wait until oil companies lobby to make it illegal to charge your car at home using DRM chips.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They'd have to fight the car companies. The car companies like EVs now

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice tech ppl will hack it. Don't worry about creativity to resist tyanny, at worse we can use an old-fashioned bicycle powered by human legs !

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm sure anyone with the time and know-how could just completely replace the battery let alone build an entire vehicle from scratch parts. We've been fighting an uphill battle for Right to Repair for years. "Nice tech ppl" haven't saved the world yet, and its less likely when oil companies get involved.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Man, the best way to fuck oil companies is just NOT TO BUY oil and plastics.
That's the only way, very efficient !

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My county banned the use of e-bikes equipped with throttles (class 2 & 3). If caught, they'll confiscate and charge a $700 fine. Spent thousands on bikes for the family and now we can't even use them as normal bikes. Fucking clowns in our government...

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Because they are not safe for pedestrians or really anyone... They should be banned.

You should have got your family none throttle equipped or just normal bikes.

I hate no sympathy for anyone who bought electric motorcycles wanting to drive them on pedestrian and bike infrastructure.

Remove the throttle and go to pedal assist only. Solve your damn problem.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well, shit. Fuck me for riding my electric-powered bicycle to the grocery store instead of revving up my 2 ton car. What's this bullshit about it being unsafe for ANYONE and about riding them on pedestrian AND bike infrastructure - you're just making wildly broad bullshit statements. It's already illegal in most places to ride bikes in pedestrian lanes and complaining about bikes in the bike lane is some Karen shit. Honestly, for your own sake, keep your shit opinions to yourself. Aggro AF

I love this for them!

Hey, Russians living in Crimea, you earned all of this and more....

1 week ago | Likes 337 Dislikes 18

I can't wait for the fall of the USA, and those pedophiles have to deal with shit like this.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

Umm they’re rich and won’t even notice. This shit happening in crimea isn’t hurting Putin himself. Nor his cadre.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Shit like this will kill vulnerable populations first. The handicapped, the ill, the old, they all die first when systems fail. I understand wanting change, but wanting it to come via disaster will hurt innocents first, and those responsible literally last.

1 week ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

The people calling for violence know that, they do not give a shit about those populations... and they apparently have never read a history book as the people in power just move to someplace safe while the rest of us suffer in the ruins.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

TF are you talking about? Russians in Crimea wanted to live their lives; they didn't want any of this.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 13

After Russia invaded Crimea in 2014, they started moving more Russians into Crimea. Something like 100,000 Ukrainians have left, and 800,000 Russians have moved in. Russia is trying to reshape the demographics of the region to build support for their claim that the residents of Crimea want to be part of Russia by moving more Russians in to support that claim.

1 week ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

They're living on stolen land, fuck em.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I got news for you about North America…

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm well aware of the atrocities that the US has committed. However, my family didn't arrive until the 1900s. I didn't really have a choice in living here, the Russians occupying Ukraine do.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So, most Americans are a few generations removed from that theft, these Russians are the original thieves.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think you're underestimating the long-standing Russian communities living in Crimea. Just because someone's Russian doesn't make them bad.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I mean... did they? Its not like putin was fairly elected and represents the russian people in any meaningful capacity. I would also argue that the opression experienced by many russians under the soviet union made it impossible to feel safe speaking out regardless of the regeime change (and it really doesnt seem to be any better than it was 35 years ago). :/ the people are just reaping all the consequences of one psychopath's actions.

1 week ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 40

Most of them moved there after the illegal annexation.

That's... at least some measure of responsibility. Russia has done this before too, seize land, drive out the people, move in "ethnic Russians" from the Moscow/St. Petersburg regions to seize assets etc.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sounds familiar…….

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're responsible for their country leader's atrocities the same way that Americans and Israelites are responsible for theirs.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes absolutely. Would someone buying land in the Gaza strip be blameless?

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Putin's approval rating, as best we can tell, is hovering around 70% to 80%. So I feel bad for the minority that doesn't support him. The rest, AKA most, can get fucked.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In the end, the people suffer for their government's crimes. My heart won't go out to the suffering of a people when their government is evil. Either take up arms against the government, leave, or you accept you deserve what comes your way through your tacit tolerance.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. There was basically a "get Ukrainians out, move Russians in" shit when it was invaded way back when. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Russian_annexation_of_Crimea#Human_rights_situation Ukrainians were suppressed and removed; you can essentially track what happened by the shifting in popularity polls too.

1 week ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

The Russians currently occupying Crimea moved there AFTER the occupation. They earned this.

There has historically been a huge community of ethnic russians living in crimea for like... hundreds of years dude.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

You've heard about Crimean Tatars ? Probaly not, so please read this to know more about how and since when ruSSians populated Crimea :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimean_Tatars
For your information, the original people living in the USA were NOT white... Sioux, Apaches, Cherokees, Mohicans, Hurons and many more were the legal landlords.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

As a result of ethnic cleansing started in the imperial era and continued through the soviet era.

1 week ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I deleted my comment cuz I saw the demographics...

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The Russians in Crimea chose to move there.

1 week ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 3

Russians have lived in Crimea since before they were Russia or Crimea. They're part of that region.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 30

*Tatars. Notably Tatars who were mostly wiped out by Russia.

1 week ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Kyiv is older than Moscow, therefore its all Ukraine.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well that's not how any of that works.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they deserve it just as much as any German who moved into bloodstained homes in Poland post 1939, decked out with stolen Jewish gold deserved their treatment

1 week ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

That's... Not when Russians moved to Crimea. It was centuries ago.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 12

haha classic Imgur. Tell something that do not fit it narrative and you are suddenly the enemy.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Those Russians in Crimea are no different than Israelis buying up land in Gaza.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those are Ukrainians.... Not Russians.

Ukraine predates Russia, by your logic there is a whole bunch of Ukraine's living in Russia so Russia should just hand over that territory. As hey those were Ukraines centuries ago.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Go back and check where I said any country should be sceeding territory just because they have an ethnic minority there.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they cheered for russia taking Crimea. They love whenever russia takes some other countrys land. They're like Israel. You can argue it's their upbringing but it's who they are now and the most healthy is a defeat like ww2 germany to learn some better behavior

1 week ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 8

Like Americans who cheer every soldier who fights in illegal wars. They are all the same.

1 week ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 9

I spent 10 years in the US Army, I feel the current waves of casualties are an absolute tragedy and what we are doing to Iran is a crime against humanity.... most of the war crimes are being committed by the usual suspects, the US Navy and USAF.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, they are all the same. Caught hook line and sinker by powerful propaganda. I pity them for their inability to think critically well enough to see what the rest of us do. Sure they need to have, uh, certain personality traits to be susceptible to it, but the "news media" and our governments are to blame.
