Kinda smells like bullshit. I know PLENTY of times that mass backlash has caused both great things and horrible things to happen, and in some of those instances overnight. Whereas snail mail is going to burden the mail system, and will probably end up on some wage-workers desk to go through. I doubt any senior official would get a single piece of the mail, unless maybe addressed directly to the C-suites? Idk, any action is better than no action I guess?

I can't speak to the effectiveness of letter-writing, but don't worry about "burdening the mail system". Stamps cost money, the USPS needs money, and volume of mail is one of their budgetary considerations. Making use of their services helps, not hurts.

Junk mail costs money. Where you can use AI to sift through e-mail, they can't with paper. And when a whole bunch of that paper clogs up the department handling them it starts to cost money by being detrimental on normal service. Time is their biggest asset. Using up a lot of it will be noticed throughout the whole company for sure as normal work needs to continue too.

I'm 55 and watched PBS all my life and continue to. Their NOVA, Nature, and other specials are fantastic. I remember when I was younger they would do pledge drives for around a week. You can call in and donate money during those drives and they would announce your name after you donated and thanks you. I did that several times with my dad as we watched PBS.
