Where. Fuck them if they are. But show me where someone mocked him for it. Itd need to be quite a few of them to just blanket all republican

There has been very little. Even Fox news comment sections are more empathetic than hurtful over this.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Who was that shit that drove 13hrs across state with his dog in a cage on the roof?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Romney

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sauce?

5 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Can someone provide a link to this to back this up? I can't find anything to prove this. It's 100% Trump's MO but can't find any actual

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

evidence.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What Republicans are mocking his grief? I haven't seen any

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Any source besides takei tweeting?

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Anyone have an example?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I did not need to hear about the loss of Champ this way!

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The death of my dog, Isla, was the first and only time I saw my father cry. Even when I read a heartfelt poem at my Papa's funeral, nothing.

5 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

But thank you, to the sole downvoter who dislikes the idea of a loving, stoic man revealing his emotions without considering his own past...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only times I've ever seen my dad cry were at the loss of our dog and the loss of his wife.

5 years ago | Likes 941 Dislikes 7

I mentioned something similar above, and I suspect if mum goes first, he'll cry then. What a sad business this mortality is...

5 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 1

Same here but also the loss of his mother.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My father did not cry when his brothers and sisters died, yet he cried when our puppy had an accident and died

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Your mom?

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Not necessarily.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Aye, but the comment was more about him than me.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Same with my father, with an added instance while reading my siblings and I the end of Where the Red Fern Grows when we were small.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I found out my ex's dog died a couple years after we broke up, we didn't remain in contact but had mutual friends, I called her to offer...

5 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

my condolences and started to choke up on the phone. I still miss that dog.

5 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

Did he marry his dog?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 35

That might have been more economical, too bad your parents are unique in that/s

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

They are very pragmatic people. And they can take a joke too. A rare trait these days

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

It's a slippy slope, mate. Some of us can understand without the seemingly 'required' /s. But don't think that there aren't many of us. ?

Lost my dog in December of 2020 and I still randomly cry about it. Shit hurts.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Lost a cat November of last year and yeah me too :( I miss her so much :(

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry friends :(

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lost my first dog in 2011. That dog-shaped place in my heart is going to be empty forever. It’s always hard losing loved ones.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Vet has a sign up. Every time you lose a dog, it takes a piece of your heart, but leaves a piece of it’s. The plan is to have enough dogs to

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

end up with enough pieces of theirs to replace all of ours. If I can find a sample of the original, I’ll post it.

Ive always thought political cartoons are ridiculous. If you need to write the guys name on your drawing of him, is it really that good? Lol

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 30

I mean y'all can get mad if you want but it's still goofy. I'm not even saying to not make fun of these dipshits, calm down Imgur brigade

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They are essentially the first memes:

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I dunno, at some point all these disgraceful bootlicking old men seem to blur together. Although a dog collar with his name might do here.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes but come on, Trump has many dogs in congress, and a cartoonist's got only so much time to figure out how to draw you the correct dog.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

When making a political statement it is important to avoid ambiguity.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If someone promised me a dog and gave me Lindsay Graham, I would be disappointed and angry

5 years ago | Likes 119 Dislikes 0

I dunno, loyal minions are hard to come by. As long as it comes with the blackmail to keep him in line, that's a pretty good deal

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lindsey knows how to sit up and beg though :D

5 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Disgrace

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Just think of the savings on peanut butter

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Turns out Republican is a synonym for sociopath. This shouldn't surprise anyone.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 12

Found way more sympathetic tweets and comments when I looked around, think Mr. Takei just wanted some internet points.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

When I lost my pet cat I refused to leave her be as they gave her the injection, held her and sang to her as she went to sleep. Cried a lot.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

John wick-esque reaction intensifies

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

I've said it many times:. Never trust a man that doesn't cry when his dog dies.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

ngl I dislike this trend of "person makes claim about group nebulously with no links or proof provided". Like, I'm gonna look myself, but -

5 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

- he could be taking something out of context or making it up and its going to be shared around like truth regardless.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Back from looking and found nothing. Mostly sympathetic and kind responses. Was more shit flinging about Trumps brother dieing than this.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I saw that, more looks like a reference to the material he linked which isn't necessarily mocking, but maybe not sensitive.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And regardless, the key thing to be looked for is a pattern or trend, which I cannot find.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you don't grieve the loss of a family pet, are you even a fucking human?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

This is fake as shit. Twitter responding to twitter.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are Republicans on a self destruct mode, or are they unable to show concern for anyone but themselves

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Odysseus felt grief over his dog. For fucks sake. This stuff was relevant before christ.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

There are pre-historic examples of ppl burying their dead pets with ritual items. Even Kronk had more heart than some of these jerks.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Which is why i partially dont believe it. Republicans have lots of hunters and those guys love there dogs.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sounds like a do whatever stupidity it takes to utter to make the "girls" aka dems squeal and proof that they are the "hardened" "men"..

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I asked a friend jokingly, is it okay to cry if your dog dies? His response : if you don't, you didn't deserve the dog. Miss you, Audrey.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We've already established compassion isn't one of their defining qualities.

5 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 17

Yes let's ban a gun that kills less than 0.0000012% of people each year.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 32

It serves no other purpose though. It's literally a killing machine. So why not ban it?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

That fact the your reflexive response to that cartoon is to defend the gun kinda proves the point.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Wait until your kids become the victims

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 8

Hang on… which dog died!!??

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Champ

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Aww man.. bummer ;(

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I say this every now and again but what in the FUCK is wrong with that country.

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 11

Many things, but at least one is people willing to believe a blanket claim about a group without evidence.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Money and greed

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s his bitch. Different thing entirely

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not trying to defend anyone here but I haven't seen any mockery. Can someone hook me up with some sauce?

5 years ago | Likes 154 Dislikes 3

I've only seen some dude joke (or just make a mean comment) comparing Champ loss to loss of Biden's other son, Beau.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I can’t imagine making fun of a father for losing his son. Unreal.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Writer may have deleted tweet. Looking for it. He's a national review contributor I believe.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How is this QAnon thing still going? It has to be one big troll?

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It literally is. It just got too big.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I've asked for sauce twice already. This is just making shit up so they can hate, like what Reps do with AOC. Shitty no matter who does it.

5 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 32

Which is... also not mocking Biden over his dog. It leads to an article the guy wrote, talking about Biden's kids.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

its been a month since I last binged DS9 what episode is this from?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ummmmmm the scene where he and nog are captured together by the jem heder with the vorta that wasnt weyoun is the best I can recall atm

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kiban. That was his name. Soon as I read Nog it all came back to me. Then Nog gets upset and Kiban says Garak just saved them.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The vorta was injured and didnt have enough ketracel white to last long

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've also asked. Only thing people come up with is 1 random person. When you point out they don't speak for everyone you get blocked so...

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

This. Apparently 1 person is enough to justify for all of the GOP.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I guess they just want to be outraged, even though they harp over outrage propaganda all the time

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Haven't seen any mocking for this specifically, but when you scroll deep into the comments, you see people being mean towards the family:

5 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 3

I didn’t read a single thing about making fun of Biden for his dog dying.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That's my point. A lot of condolences towards the family then towards the bottom people start throwing shade towards Biden or family

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The comments are surprisingly empathetic here. And several of the nasty ones stem from "democrats are sociopaths" which is ironic.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Very ironic but people just wanna keep the hate machine churning

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's weird how many are a variation of "I don't like his policies, but my condolences"

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What about that is weird? Because it challenges preconceived notions or because you think they're botted?

Alien in human suit. Republicans are fuckin weirdos.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Romney is the Michelob Ultra of Republicans.

5 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

What the fuuuuuuuuuck

5 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 4

Honestly can't see the issue here. Romney apparently loved the dog enough to build it a windshield, and how else would you transport the dog

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 15

0/10 trolling, btw.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In the car?

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

A unrestrained pet in a vehicle is a dangerous distraction. There isn't a means to travel with a pet that is entirely comfortable or

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 19

risk free. A secured kennel equipped with a windscreen isn't anymore uncomfortable for the animal then traveling in the vehicle and it isn't

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 12

you don't know how the ride was up there or how much wind was making it in. the dog got sick and was almost certainly uncomfortable.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I can't know everything. Which flips back onto you, because you don't know the cause behind the dog getting diarrhea. The explanation given

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

is the dog ate something it wasn't supposed to. Which makes more sense then... exposure to maybe some wind.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

"isn't anymore uncomfortable for the animal then traveling in the vehicle" - You might be a psychopath...

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Your right. The timeless image of a dog sticking their head out a window to experience the fresh air cannot be used as a proof that dogs

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

can be perfectly comfortable in such circumstances. Which is such a ridiculous thing for me to even say considering the kennel had

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

anymore dangerous then a large, restless animal acting as a distraction in the vehicle. Quit feigning outrage over eye roll controversy

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 12

restless distraction to who? there's more people in the car than just the driver and IMO no dog has ever distracted me dangerously 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Let me clarify. A distraction to any RESPONSIBLE driver, one who cares about their pet more then the ego boost they get from being SO GOOD

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

2/2 while driving despite being large and restless and free to walk the car.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Bullshit. There are pet harnesses that can be attached to seatbelts and will keep the pet safe.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Oh... and you know for a fact that said harnesses existed in the 1980s

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 8

Neck and girth harnesses were brought to Europe from China over 2000 years ago. They were used by ancient civilizations for draft animals.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pet crates for cars have been marketed in the US since the 60s.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would you assume the dog would be unrestrained inside the vehicle? You know they have dog seat belts and car kennels?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And did those seat belts exist in the 80s? Are there kennels for every SIZE of dog? Context matters

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Yes (?), my dad had one for our dog. It was janky, might have been homemade. And yes.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

... Might have been homemade? So you say yes, even though you admit if your dad had to make one, they weren't readily available. Weird how

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

yes lol they make kennels for different dog sizes my goodness

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Uh, dude? Dog crates for cars have been around since the 60s. I grew up in the 80s with hunting dogs who lived outside, we had them.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

holy shit what a fucking ridiculous attempt to defend this

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

If you want to disprove me, make an argument or shut up. The reason there are so many stupid fucks in America is they argue with their

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

opinions and never an ounce of argument. I don't like conservatives either, but that you feel smarter then them doesn't validate your

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

opinions as representing any intelligence. Make an argument or continue insulting me like a Trumpster would. Your choice.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

In America, responsible dog owners put their dog in a fuckinf crate and inside the car. You guys National Lampoon your dogs?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My point is more about hypocrisy. Some people saying I'm wrong also say they are perfectly fine with their pet completely unrestrained in

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

I disagree, I've transported dogs in kennels INSIDE my car before without incident.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Can every vehicle accommodate every size of kennel? Context matters

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

This is like watching Clark Griswold justify putting Aunt Edna on the roof...amazing.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you shouldn't take your dog on a trip if your car is so small you have to put them outside of it on the roof.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In case you needed a reminder that Republicans are sociopaths

5 years ago | Likes 1135 Dislikes 68

They shit on him for mourning his dead son - of course they don't care about a dog. Family means nothing to these people.

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Unless, of course, they happen to have a daughter with a nice ass.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Gross and accurate

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I am tempted to down vote this as it gives sociopaths a bad name.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Republican down voters to that comment are hilarious. Keep downvoting chumps. Lol

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Not all of us are

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

But what about people like me? I'm a liberal but hate dogs.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Statistics would say otherwise but please continue with your hyperbole

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

Rather, there seems to be a strong tendency for sociopaths to tend towards conservatism and, therefore, be Republicans.

5 years ago | Likes 140 Dislikes 14

The study found Republicans tended stronger to Boldness and Meanness. The difference in meanness had to do with social issues. 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

This correlation makes more sense

5 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 4

Give credit where it's due though. Most republicans are posting condolences and sympathy - they're people still and Takei's post is baseless

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

It's the fact that those who DO mock Biden's grief face no internal consequences. That party is just one giant race to the bottom.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I mean, what internal consequences were faced when a few people made jokes when Robert Trump died? What internal consequences -

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

- were faced by people making fun of GWB when Barney died? Small amounts of unknown people throwing insults into the void of the internet -

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

- won't face internal backlash from a party of millions. This whole thing is suggesting it's a trend right now but -

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

On the non-fascist side of American politics we police our own, and quickly dump those who go against our espoused beliefs.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For the Repugnicans it's the opposite. Offer a hand to the other side? Get destroyed. Hurl nonsensical vitriol at any lib and u r glorified

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Remember when lefties argued against defining a whole group by a few individuals? I do.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 50

A few? Good God, man. Wake up.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yes I do. But when your leaders are deliberately their base polished shit and their base is eating it up then we are no longer talking about

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

A few individuals

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

By "few individuals" do you mean the 90% of the GOP that gave Trump their unquestioning support during 4 years of idiocy and corruption?

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

You realize how the system is setup right? It sounds like you don't understand American politics

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 22

the system is set up so that you support a corrupt piece of shit instead of replacing him with a better person?

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

No, you clearly don't understand.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

70 mil people voted for the orange cunt TWICE. No problem with generalizing, it's a general problem with Republicans and their voters.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yes we did, that's the fault of a 2 party system. He won the primaries, he was the incumbent. Not voting for the other party's agenda

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

I didn't vote for him in the primaries, but I'm not going to vote for a democrat 99% of the time in a presidential election

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Why? The fact you think republicans better represent you than dems is mind-boggling.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Dude, conservative politics are fundamentally prejudicial and discriminatory. Pull your head out of your ass already.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

They aren't. The leaders many states have picked are. That doesn't make all republicans/conservatives villains.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 19

From LGBT marriage rights, to racist policing practices, to anti-abortion laws which harm women... conservative politics are discriminatory.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Hell, even the economic policies of conservatives are prejudiced against the poor.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

the elect corrupt people then cheer them on and reelect them, yeah they are all pretty shit

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Because every vote has been and is unanimous? Right?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

its not a few individuals though. its at least a couple million easy

5 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 2

Couple million out of over 100 million? It's a small percentage of the group. That many of us do not like or approve of.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 22

wheres this 100 million comming from? trump had about 75 million voters, and i said it was a couple million EASY. as in, theres at LEAST

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

that many, and rather obviously many more beyond that easy count

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck that. 75 mullion assholes voted for a wannabe dictator and traitor.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Even if you’re correct about the percentage (I don’t believe you are ), don’t you think the remaining 98% are complicit by failing to act.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

at least 75 million out of 100 million, that is not a small percentage

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

At least 70 million, after there is no hope of another candidate winning. At that point it's picking the lesser damage to the country

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

If everone could be perfect just like you

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 174

there is a vast distance between a perfect person and a narcissistic sociopath fueled by rage and hate

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not sociopath = perfection? Pretty low bar you set there, and yet many Republicans still fail to clear it

5 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 8

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 15

You don't need to be perfect to have empathy.

5 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 2

Isn't psychopath(spelling? Not first language!) the one defined by lack of empathy? Sociopath, I thought, was not caring about right/wrong..

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Could be. Brain's battered rn so I'm not certain of anything

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they are similar, both lack empathy but the difference is a sociopath can feel emotions while a psychopath doesnt but mimics feeling them
