The way I see it, if an established artist uses AI consciously to create art, then it's a tool, just like photoshop. It's not the same as someone without a clear intention giving a few generic prompts, rendering a hundred pics and posting one that looks good.

I'm aware of the historical Luddites and I fully sympathize with them. Neo luddite however is a colloquial term used for people who back away from certain new tech for ideological/emotional reasons. It ofc stems from a misunderstanding of the original Luddites but that's neither here nor there. Also, "no bots" in my dumps refers to the many bot account posting on Imgur, either inserting sales links or spreading propaganda, not AI. Thank you for not being rude like so many others in this thread!

Those techs are questioned all the time, by much smarter folks than you, if you use some of that free google we all have, you can find out why those totally factual positions don't get you flamed. If you want to randomly say I'm afraid of GMOs because my uncertified wellness influencer told me they were bad, and I'm afraid of nuclear because of bombs, yeah, you're gonna get flamed anywhere with more average IQ than Celsius room temp.
