Using a demolition hammer to remove Lock set from door.

Surely there is an easier way!

Works like a charm!

What's the brand of the lock? It did pretty well considering.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is a meme inside!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

His girls parents just left and will gone all night.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When she says shes a backdoor virgin be gentle.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am now actually dumber for having watched that.

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

dumberer?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everything's a dildo if you're brave enough

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think he got it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don’t think captain bellend knows how a lock works

Heeerrrreees victor

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Damn... you beat me to it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not that a 3lb club hammer and a cold chisel wouldn’t have done the job

8 years ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 0

A bit of pallet banding :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OP's mom's vibrator.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

All of that and he couldn’t open it the first time?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I feel like an axe would have been less cumbersome and just as effective

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Why not take the pins out of the hinge. But what's the fun in that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Works on Lada Nivas too

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He must be wore out thou. Those things are heavy as shit

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice hammer, but wrong tool for the job.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That breaker weighs 90+ pounds. My back hurts just watching him jerk it around

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Plot twist: Door was unlocked.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The most time consuming, least efficient way.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a hell of a strong door

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

A lot of the impact of the jackhammer is lost to recoil, since he isn't bracing properly.

Either a well built lock or one heck of a door because that thing didn't move while he was demolishing it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why not use a partner saw on the bolt then unscrew the lock set from the inside and save the door?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There are a least 10 better ways to get this door open. I assume he thought this was more fun and didn't need the door.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

If that was the case why not dynamite or maul or sledge? He choose a dramatic loud way but a ton of work and high chance of injury method.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can only speculate. He had the jackhammer and wanted to try it?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

uhm... wouldn't it be easier to remove both hinges?

8 years ago | Likes 818 Dislikes 10

You're applying logic to russia. Logic doesn't work in russia.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well it is Russia. Not exactly a hotbed of intelligence.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a locksmith, brute force and ignorance always work

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

No, he doesn't have the keys.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think he even checked to see if it was locked in the first place.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

better destroy the door

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not as fun though

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

somebody try with the latch?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope. Russian doors tend to be solid metal and inches thick. When I visited Moscow every apartment was a bomb shelter basically

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yes. But that isn't nearly as much fun.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not Russia enough.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No one wants so hear about your smart mumbo jumbo!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He'd have to lift it higher. I mean I have no experience with a jackhammer but it looks heavy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Google says 60lb's?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I definitely feel like there's an easier way to do this. Dynamite, perhaps.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"You see, Ivan"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably drunk dude

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Prolly but the gif would be boring

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Person recording probably knew that but just wanted the internet points

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

He could have gone through the concrete wall if he'd wanted to.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In Soviet Russia door leave YOU unhinged!

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

It'd be easier using his boot. Dudes trying to use a jackhammer, things are fuckin heavy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This was clearly not meant to be a practical solution, it was an excuse to use a jackhammer.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

He's obviously not locksmith. Just wants to destroy things.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That was my exact thought.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

The shit is made of wood a nice firm kick would have done it.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

He's using a jackhammer to open a door. This guy isn't that smart

8 years ago | Likes 387 Dislikes 1

"work hard, not smart"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When your dump your skill points into strength and nothing elsd

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Door can't be locked if there is no door left

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I doubt this is being done because he thought it was efficient.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I don't think it's a question of intelligence. He seems to be having a great time.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Insert blonde joke..

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You don't buy a jackhammer just to let it sit unused.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

not even, the door was open.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I honestly can’t believe 300 people upvoted backwards hinge logic lol. Not a lot of carpenters here I gather.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Or you could explain why that wouldn't work...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Glad I 'm not the only one that saw that

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think it's more a case of them not knowing what type of hinges those are.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Taking hinge bolts out of a locked door doesn't allow you to open the door.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 10

Depends on the lock

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The fuck it don't

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

If it Was, I 'd say it was a stupidly designed door

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The hinges remove from the inside, not the outside.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

I can see the pins on the outside

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Except hinge pin is on outside...at least looks like it to me

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

We can see them on the outside

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

No, taking hinge pins out is not the same as removing the hinges. To remove them, you need to be inside.
