Yeah you can't just invite people over for BBQ and then take it back. It's considered a human rights violation.

"We still coming"

Free food, cake and single woman?.. Where?

The razor wire fence is my favorite part

An internet classic

It’s like that guy who has been going to that woman’s house for Thanksgiving for several years now because of a wrong number text

I feel like some would be thrilled by this, some would be horrified. They also said no and peeps still showed. They seem happy based on this one pic, which doesnt necessarily represent reality, but coulda been pretty upsetting, esp if there wasn't enough to go around. Weddings and receptions are expensive.

Aww come on, y'all could've at least dressed up a bit.

Gonna make a rule that we can't keep posting memes as though they happened anytime recently. This is old, and fake. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2706653/We-coming-text-messages-fake-photo-wedding-party-crashing-set-Detroit-rap-video-real.html

Is that razor wire?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That picture was taken at Michigan Central Station in Detroit. It’s been abandoned for long time and they fenced it off so people didn’t wander in there at night and mill themselves falling through a hole in the floor. Recently though, Ford bought the land and has been renovating it

You DO know you're supposed to bring gifts to a wedding, right?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The real story is the kids where shooting a music video and the people from the wedding wanted to be in it.

Like the old lady wearing a backpack walking by?

BBQ?! Say no more.

But I feel like they would be a little let down after listening to Zach https://youtu.be/3gmKxkRZzP4?si=wKLtWehusPZoxJIt

The whole "Be there!" is kind of bad attitude, so I like that it didn't go exactly as planned for her :-)

Guess what? It's not real.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

Definitely awkward etiquette. “You should come!” irks me, too.

Odd that you're getting upvoted and I'm getting downvoted lol - Good thing points doesn't really matter :-)

The more harmlessly weird stories, the better the wedding

I once officiated a wedding where the bride gave the groom a lapdance while wearing a bee costume, this was while I did the vows.

As god intended

What was the reason for that? Genuinely curious.

Jerry Seinfeld kink.

I just know a lot of weirdos.

Honestly? These things are the best thing to happen to us since texting was invented.

This is obviously fake, and I doubt anyone would be too happy if some random group of dudes showed up to your event uninvited looking like they're from the blood gang

First of all, blue is crip’s.

The grandma and young guy getting together for Thanksgiving after wrong number text is my jam

And doing it every year after.

Introducing kids and mourning lost one’s. It’s a beautiful thing that a fat fingered text creates such a wonderful family tradition.

Am I the only one who saw this as rude?

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 6

Which part? The woman who said no invite to strangers or we still coming ? I say both, but in the end it’s a cute ending :)

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

For me it's the "we still coming", I can understand why you wouldn't want strangers in your wedding photo shoot but not why you'd think it'd be ok to still go after being told no. I liked the thanksgiving one because even after the mistake he still got an invite but with this one they got told no and responded with too bad we're going anyway

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

True, but maybe he meant it as a joke and then the lady said ok why not :)

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

See that would be nice but they need to then include that part

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Agreed! I will go about my life believing they juys didn’t include it :)

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ehhh I can see that, but if I was the OP I would text back as long as you bring a main dish and a gift for the wedding. Sure you can come but no freeloading

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

See then I'd like it because they actually got asked to come, here they got told no but went anyway

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Only if we stop the texts at that point. Any number of scenarios could've happened between that last text we see here and the wedding

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes but that kinda needs to be included somewhere then, could have just as likely not happened
