Let's get this bread. Sorry today's post is so late, I was painting and assumed in my ADHD I had already posted today's offerings. Whooopsies.
Pippin was trying to chew the wood frame of the inside of my canvas.

Today's message from Pippin: "What doing? AAAAAAAAAAAA"
___
1) Are you on the run to a safe place and passing through Arizona on your way to safer grounds? My apartment is open to you to crash at, and it is a safe space. Pippin and I will make you a meal and gladly share tea, wine, or mead with you.
2) Hey! Take your meds with a full glass of water, please. Do it for Pippin, or Space Mom, or better yet, do it for yourself.
3) Ĝefeloað wē. We will carry on.
4) all funds from the sales of items at these two links will be sent to support charities aiding to fight for Trans rights in the US (not just T-shirts!)

#15 I can't remember the last time I had a sensory sensitivity (actually that's right, it was the cinnamon candle) before last night. Had to choose between sandals that are blistering up my feet or sneakers. Sneakers. So I need socks...
Sorry. Tldr the socks and shoes felt so repulsive I threw the socks out. I never throw clothing out. I don't know how people deal with how nauseating those situations are and often.

#48 I didn't know that Adrien de Gerlach made memes. (Belgian guy who sailed into the Antarctic pack knowing full well they'd get stuck in 1898. They got out a little over a year later.)

So the Pippin plans to have a career in the lumber industry?
notreallyaclevername
#30 it's funny, but I don't think of Stairway to Heaven as a particularly long song compared to others within the genre at the time. Hell, it wasn't even Led Zeppelins longest song

Not only is the Trojan Horse mentioned in the Odyssey, it’s a rather funny/disturbing scene. Helen suspects that there might be some Greeks inside, and she tries to get them to reveal themselves. When Telemachos visits Menelaos and Helen, they tell him this story: “Remember when I tried to get you killed? Good times, good times…”

#22 This has big Harry Dresden Energy, but I don't remember it as a specific scene in the books (mind you I haven't read all the shorts/novellas)...
FetteredJuvenescence
It definitely does, and no I don't recall any such scene either. I don't think it was meant to be him, but it absolutely made me think of him.

#10 When I worked in offices and had to sit in meetings I used to do that all the time. Not only clicking pens (or taking them apart)... I used to take in other things to fidget with, and make little seesaws or rotors or whatever, with paper clips, sharpeners, etc. I also kept miniature slinkies, balls etc. on my desk, but I didn't take those into meetings - a bit too obvious.

That's because Ancient Rome didn't have a road to reach it, but now with the Chunnel all bets are off.

#22 reminds me of the Saint of Killing.
FetteredJuvenescence
Made me think Harry Dresden, tbh, even though he never actually wears a hat (But he always has one on the book covers)
